I agree. It’s sweet. Just pointing out that Clint is quite an accomplished player in his own right, if anything he’s downplaying his career by saying that’s his best moment.

That’s part of what made Ayton’s jab so ridiculous. It’s like “who the **** is YOU?” Clint’s averaged nearly a double-double for almost a decade. At this point, Ayton is just another journeyman.

Except that comment wasn't a knock on Capela or his career, but the role he plays on teams. Ayton sees himself as more than just a clean up guy and there aren't many traditional centers in the league who he can compare himself to. As good as Capela's career has been, he's always been a role player, but I sure hope he takes the "jab" personally in the playoffs. I'm looking forward to this matchup.

Tbh I doubt he spends much time at either "home" in the offseason. Since he's been here I've definitely become an Adams fan and he's clearly an outdoorsy type. I'd imagine he spends a lot more time at various seafront properties, places out in the wilderness etc and enjoys the world as much as possible. He doesn't strike me as the stay at home doing dinner parties, video games or whatever kinda guy.

 

His form's actually nicer than a lot of players hahaha.
