Please don’t fall for things like this. The whole goal of it is that a lie will be taken with a grain of salt rather than rejected outright. This is a total lie directed at much lower IQ people than you.

Trump: "I could take out Iran in one day. In one hour, I could have their entire energy, everything, every one of their electric generating plants, which is a big deal. I hate to do it because if I do it, it takes you 10 years to rebuild. They'll never be able to. And the other thing you take out are their bridges. I took out one just to show them."

My guess is that any tankers with oil will be seized and treated like Venezuela. That is sold with the proceeds going into some ME bank account outside the usual norms of federal government funds.

Missing in the China discussion is the fact that I'm sure they are monitoring the amount of military resources and equipment we are taking from the Pacific and sending to the Iran theater. They also certainly have Mar-a-Lago and other golf properties (if not the RNC and White House) covered with spies. They will pick the worst time to go after Taiwan and we won't be able to do much. I'd be very worried if I I'm a Pacific democracy.

I was certain Trump would choose escalation over humiliation, but he surprised me with blockade of the blockade by picking both.

Trump is also about to take another ego hit when Orban loses in Hungary. Expect more unhinged posts when that becomes official. (Yes there is concern that Orban will try to hold onto power, but there is also a counter in that Hungary is a member of the EU and the military and security forces have ideally been exposed to EU standards and training, thus they are not going to heavily weigh in with support of an Orban coup.)

Timothy Snyder suggests that when Trump is talking about "victory" he is not using the word in any strategic sense, but using it mean he made money somewhere along the line. Everything does make more sense if you look at it this way.

So glad Trump poked his dictator nose into Hungarian politics. So long, Orban! Loser.

I hope he loses. Trump and his son love corrupt leaders who praise the orange man, are corrupt, and willing to systematically erode the rules of law in their favor. Like birds of a feather those right wing Kleptocrats stick together, and cheer on their coups together.

What's your solution besides getting rid of the duopoly here in the States?

    Adopt the bitcoin standard.

Pretty much everything ties back to broken money.

UK found out that they were sending their mine sweepers, when they read about it in a Trump Truth Social post.

I don't blame the UK. Who would want to clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines, while under continuous drone bombardment?

This going to be a complete **** show, unsurprisingly. I suspect that Iran has way more drones and mines than the US has navy ships.

Hegseth is probably urging him on, frothing at the mouth to give the order for our troops to start blowing up anything and anyone they can. Of course, he and Trump won't be putting themselves in any danger.
