Nuggets first round matchup thread.

The “Trade Sengun”/“Giannis for Sengun” threads are gonna be lit up like the 4th of July after this series. (If they do play the Nuggets)

 

This is a complete disaster. Probably the only first round matchup we have zero chance against.

 

I honestly would love 4 it to happen, but it's like LA anyway.

Steal game 1... lose game 2 then lose game 3 then win game 4... lose game 5 then win game 6 then... surprise win game 7 on a KD buzzer beater...

 

Ugh wanted the lakers

 

LOL I’m not saying the Rockets can’t beat the Nuggets… but KD, Sheppard and FVV are looking at locking in some banana boat rentals.

 

Yeah should be an easy win. I've heard reliably we have:
The best defender on the planet who is also the most athletic player in league history
Baby Jokic
2 x Generational shooters
Defensive specialist coach

How can we lose?

 

There's no way Katie Dickerson is vacationing with the low-key "special bus" crew

 

The lakers could lose on purpose too. Everyone wants the rockets

I kinda have a weird stance on this.

a playoff series victory would be valuable, but I don’t see us getting past the second round regardless.

I do think that we have a chance to retool in the off-season to at at least bring us closer to the thunder and the Spurs. I had this discussion with a friend today. I realized that those two teams are essentially young Dynasty, but that doesn’t mean that we should just give up on everything.

the bbs plays hindsight too much. I would rather play the Lakers because I’d like to win a playoff series, but there might be some value in playing the Nuggets as well, even if we lose in the first round.

as a disclaimer, we also seem to play Denver pretty well.

I think we have a lot of flexibility this off-season to improve the team. but I also don’t think we are going to be as easy and out as some people think.

 

If we’re going to lose may as well do it so we get exposed properly tbh
