After watching the game last night the clear and unanimous answer is that the Rockets just do not have THAT BENCH PLAYER!

EVERYBODY ON THEIR BENCH IS INCONSISTENT

I still think its a direct result of trading Whitmore. If nothing else, he could get a bucket and he brought an attitude, force! The Rockets bench was a large part of their strength last yr.

Both teams played evenly last night but the man was TERRENCE SHANNON! He was the difference!

    IT'S NOT IME
ITS NOT ANY OF THE STARTERS

Yea..th 14ppg guy that was runner up 6MOTY isn’t the answer

here’s a thought, maybe don’t yank him the second he hits 3 shots in a row and insert him at random ass times for 2 minute spurts

you guys support decisions/changes that create certain problems and then throw your hands up wondering why those problems exist

Reed and Sengun will be shipped to Milwaukee this summer.

I think you missed my point or I didn't make my point clear. WE NEED A STRONGER BENCH!

Reed played well last night and I assume you watched the game but Minnesota bench players played with more force, they matched our starters energy.

Again, Reed had a good game but he doesn't play with that attitude! And sure a 2pt bucket, is a 2pt bucket and same for a 3pt bucket!

But when Terrence Shannon drove down the lane and slammed in the 3rd Qtr. it was like the energy, the momentum was clearly on their side and it gave them confidence they could win.....THOSE ARE THE PLAYS CAM WHITMORE WOULD MAKE

Give up what? I like to call out plays. It’s my hobby.

In this case, on watching the game again, there is a shot of Ime’s clipboard showing Elbow Split Action, coming out of the timeout where we ran it three times in a row. I’ll post later. Friends on X have been discussing an Athletic article about tweaking the offense, so it’s for that discussion to,o,,just vids of things we can look for in round 1. To see when/if we go away from our movement sets.

I feel like Rockets will be always that 1st round exit team under Ime coached.

I wouldn't trade Reed this Summer but I would look at Sengun and the reason being, I think going down the stretch of games he has shown to be more of a liability than a strength.....I KNOW SOFs ARE GOING TO ARGUE BUT LET ME EXPLAIN.

    Going down the stretch of games you always want the ball in your best player's hands and he is one of the Rocket's best players but the problem is, he likes to play in the paint with his back to the basket. Which causes three problems;

    1) He makes it easier to double team him
    2) It causes turnovers as we've seen numerous times
    3) He is playing for 2's, the opponents are playing for 3s

I think if we keep the Bulls approach when they had MJ, which was spread the court and let Amen or KD either get to the basket or in the paint and if a player comes to double, kick it out for the open shot.....SIMPLE OFFENSE

The rockets should trade Sheppard, at a 20mpg stretch he’s just not very useful for us.

he’s pretty highly regarded around the league so if we can get into this or future drafts we should 100% pull the trigger

the chances of Sheppard turning into a franchise player are low, possible…but low. He’s a terrific championship role player but the coach has to give him his reps. And currently; KD will be done in 2 years with no franchise player on this roster

Yeah they really can't use defense as an excuse last night. Regardless of who was on the court they might as well not even been there the majority of the time. It legit looked like Silas years defense and everybody involved should be ****ing embarrassed. How Tari was allowed to sabotage us across the entire game I will never understand. It's pointless being a defensive playmaker who creates fast breaks if the fast breaks are a wasted possession anyway.

They made their 3s, we didn’t and did take that many….the role that Eason/Okogie/DFS is supposed to fill has been horribly inconsistent. If we’re depending on those guys and Jabari to have great games, we will have a very short playoff….when amen has a night like that, KD with 33 and Sengun had 22….you should not lose that game…..like, ever….not enough around them….

I got your point, it was clear. I actually agree. Just couldn't pass up an opportunity to mourn the loss of . . . CAM WHITMORE. ;)

Rockets sure know how to kill the fan base spirits. I can't believe we couldn't trade for a decent PG during the trading deadline. Jose Alvarado was easily attainable. Probably would of been enough to prevent us from losing so many winnable games.

I never again want to see Tari dribbling up the floor, looking off an open Reed who’s ready for the ball, while dribbling head on into a defender who has already claimed his ground, only to turn the ball over. Tari, stop playing selfish basketball!!!!!!

I find it weird that we are only now prioritizing more ball movement, very late in the season. It’s been a huge problem all year.

I was also surprised we stopped going to Sengun down low when it was working so well last night.

Ime’s offensive thinking continues to befuddle me.
