to the intent of the original thread, the Lakers series is a win-win. It's a win for hope and copers because...it should be a sure red carpet escort to the 2nd round. It's a win for doomers because Ime can't complain about injuries if he loses to this team. Losing to this Lakers team should get you fired.

No ****, the Spurs have every reason in the world to beat the Nuggets on Sunday. They get to avoid Nuggets in the second round and let the Nuggets and OKC battle it out.

Nah, that would be stupid for them. They swept the wolves this year and at least would MAYBE have a punchers chance if the wolves are banged up. (Although I think Lakers are losing the first round regardless). But there’s no way they’re purposely avoiding the wolves to face a KD rockets team who quite frankly they lucked out being even while they had Luka and Austin. Lakers don’t want the Rockets.
