Golden State just SCREWED the Rockets out of homecourt

Imagine the Rockets losing to the Lakers (and in less than 6 games). No way this team comes back the same next year if that happened.

 

Warriors were already LOCKED in 10th seed before even playing the Lakers. After the Rockets, Curry did play vs Kings, but they got 10th seed locked after the Kings.

Basically anything for Warriors after their Kings game was already 100% pointless.

- Vs the Kings, the Thunder, Spurs, Nuggets, Lakers, Warriors record: 14-3
Rockets were 1-2 vs Kings at 1 point.. the Rockets should not have left it up to chance in the first place

 

This is why you can not afford to lose to the Bulls twice, Kings twice, Pelicans, Mavs, Utah, and all of these tanking teams. Winning one of these games makes a difference.

 

I’m not going to blame another team for our positioning in the playoffs. We controlled our own destiny. If we come up short, then that’s on us.

 

lol OKC is smart. Helping McNuggets get the 3 seed is the better road to the finals. If Denver fell to 4/5 matchup, then they would play Denver in the second round instead of Denver and Spurs beating each other up in the second round .

What about San Antonio, are the playing checkers also? lol all they have to do is beat the Nuggets (who are not playing their starters anymore), and Lakers beat the ranking Jazz… and we get to play healthy Nuggets in the first round.

And San Antonio gets to avoid the nuggets and OKC in the second round and let one of them take the other out.

 

Pretty sure the Lakers want to play Houston in the first round. We are the weakest opponent in the top 6.

 

They’ve been adamant about that 3rd seed. I guess we will find out but if Lebron plays on Sunday that means they still want the third seed.

 

The suns did too cus Booker didn't play. It's the rockets own fault for losing both home games to the Lakers.
