Who could’ve known that a political party spewing nonstop anti-Hispanic rhetoric would lead to a massive increase in hate crimes?

    Latinos played themselves

imagine voting for a nationwide stop and frisk of your own people

Not only that, EVERY demographic has a rise in hate crimes, not just Latinos. Wake the **** up, people- the GOP is about hate and hate eats itself.

true, but a 239% increase is basically off the Richter scale

and I don’t see the GOP toning down the rhetoric any time soon because their core voting base wants all these Hispanics up outta here

any time you see somebody attacking somebody for speaking Spanish, it’s a republican

any time you see somebody telling a Hispanic to go back to Mexico or that they don’t belong in this country, it’s a republican

Hispanics took this long to get the message that they’re not liked and are just being used for votes…I can only imagine what people in the crowd were thinking when these Latinos for Trumps were waiving their signs at the Trump rallies…probably a mix of bewilderment and confusion

You do know I’m about to hold up my “mass deportations now” sign and don’t want you in the country, right??

Honestly, I know it's not a pissing match, but what was off-scale literally was the anti-trans hate crimes, and that's a stratospherically higher number proportionally b/c there just aren't many trans people, (nevermind the fear-mongering). Sad, sad times for this country no matter how you look at that chart.

Video shared by the Instagram account El Salvador Nostalgia shows ICE agents surrounding a home that multiple news outlets said is in Cambridge, MD. The clip was filmed by one of the Spanish-speaking workers from the roof.

"In an incident that occurred in Maryland, USA on March 23, 2026, and was shared on social media, workers were detained by agents after the homeowner allegedly called to report them just as they were nearly finished with the job," reads the caption, translated from Spanish.

"This is a method currently being used, unfortunately, by unscrupulous individuals who take advantage of the times by hiring construction companies to repair their homes. When the work is almost complete, the homeowners call authorities to have the workers detained, allowing them to avoid paying and benefit from the completed work.

The end of the second clip shows the person filming, reportedly the only one with legal documents, confronting one of the property owners.

"What's the point of all of this? Why didn't you guys tell them to leave? This is private property," he says to a white man standing in a short-sleeved blue collared shirt.

"Well, first of all, I'm pro-ICE," the man replies, noting he's a retired Marine. "I don’t think illegal people should be here. They should come in properly,”

"We're improving your house," the worker says.

"I know, and I'm paying for it," the man replies.

"You're not going to have an American here," the worker says. "American people are lazy as ****, they don't do the work."

"I agree, but those are two separate things," the property owner says.

The worker then asks the man why he has so much hate in his heart especially given his age: "You should spread love, not hate," the worker says, before telling the man he's going to go to hell. "That's f---ed up. Being your age and having that hate."

you don’t hate these people enough…I hesitate to even call them people atp, they’re just demons

    You may be right...
    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/11/091119121302.htm

"When people use the word "most," the study found, they don't usually mean the whole range of 51-99%. The common interpretation is much narrower, understood as a measurement of 80 to 95% of a sample -- whether that sample is of people in a room, cookies in a jar, or witnesses to an accident."

Some pretty weak methodology there. They weren't asked to define the word most, but rather given 2 options to describe something and pick one.

To be fair, 52% plus or minus 3% could mean 49% in the end. I think "half" is a better descriptor than "most".

After calling the Pope soft on crime and soft on nuclear weapons, Trump posted this. I'm sure all good MAGA Catholics and Christians are fine with this.
