I don't think you understand what that word means. If you're spending your existence copying and pasting the same arguments on a completely separate forum with the same moniker , day and night when you're not asking people to explain BTC to you...that isn't a flex man. Believe me, we'd all like to see less of your spam. It must get exhausting getting bent over on multiple places for the same stupid takes. Do us a favor and stop posting.
Reed is better than FVV in almost all statistical categories, and the difference in Assists to Turnover is nominal - Reed is a much better player than FVV and will only get better. If I am Stone I am jettising FVV this summer no matter what. Stone needs to SPEED up this team, not slow it down....FVV should get a nice watch a thank you and a kick in the ass to move along. DD
Clearly a lot of posters do not understand that when KD or Sengun are getting blitzed, trapped, and/or doubled.... the other players are supposed to reacting accordingly (and definitely not do some random sh*t). Jabari "being on the spectrum" per Dickerson is because he was acting like a very low IQ bball player when it came to timing and making decisions when KD was passing to him out of the double team or trap.
I like Reed Sheppards progress this year. I think Ime has coached him hard - but given him plenty of minutes - over 2000 this year. Reed has gotten better at nearly everything - and that includes point of attack defense and initiating offense. But, I don' think he is yet at the stage where he can run a contender - or be on the court with Sengun and KD for major minutes due to the defensive limitations of that rotation. I think he can get there in the next 1-2 years, but he isn't there yet. I see Ime's rotations that past few games as dry runs for the playoffs - where many nights Reed will be stuck on the bench against certain rotations/schemes by other teams. Now, I don't think the other options (other than Reed) will work either. Teams that can scheme Reed onto the bench can scheme the Rockets into 4th quarter collapses - as we have seen 15-20 times this regular season. For the playoffs, I want the Rockets to win round 1 and be stressed the whole way. I want Reed to average 25+ minutes a game - because we know the Rockets aren't getting past the Thunder in round 2 and Sheppards development is more important than winning 4-1 in round one or winning 1-2 games in round 2.
Agreed. Reed is better than FVV. Unfortunately Stone doesn’t have the balls to stand up to Ime or doesn’t have the ownership backing to do so. Either way it is a problem. We are stuck with Stone, Ime, and FVV for at least another year maybe longer and Reed will return to a much reduced role next year, unless FVV gets hurt.
Oof.... I think you need to do us a favor and go touch some grass.... The creepy... petty... personal look aint it gurlfriend.
Minutes wise to be fare he has played 2103 for 60th most in the nba. With 150 starters in the league that is a lot (he also has not missed a game) What is more ridiculous is that out of the 4 top players with the most played minutes, THREE of them are Rockets.
I don't think Reed will see a much reduced role... I think he will be in the exact same role of 20-30 minutes a night average 25-26 minutes per game. If Reed plays well enough then a FVV trade at the deadline might become an option, but I am not holding out hope. I think Reed will be much better next year and deserve to start - but as Will Munny once said "Deserves got nothing to do with it" Ime will play who HE thinks will execute better in the half court.
It just goes to show that with FVV out, Adams out, and DFS a huge negative, that Ime is going to Ride or Die with Amen, KD, and Jabari...
I think Ime didn’t start Reed last night because Philly has 2 really good starting guards. And he want high level defense on those 2.
I don’t think the loser spamming multiple forums with the same takes is the flex you think it is my guy. we know you don’t have much of a life. Ignorance is bliss I guess?
Reed sits in a chair when Allstars are around and then stands up when they leave the room. I have a weird theory based on my personal hate for Reed that it’s helping his statistics. I’d get him on the court versus Shai, Luka, Giannis, Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Jalen Brown, Maxey, Brunson, Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, etc for more than 31 minutes in his career before we build the statue because it fits my narrative and quest to spread lies better.
I hope you are right in that he will still get plenty of run, but he won’t unless Ime backs off on FVV playing 35+.
I expect FVV will be on a back to back/minutes restriction to start the season... but you are right, Ime going to be Ime and play Fred 35+ most nights. My expectation for Reed's minutes is based on Reed continuing to get stronger and improve his point of attack defense (boy sure needs to learn how to take a charge - should watch video of Brunson 10000x this summer) AND learning how to break a double team. I expect enough improvement for 20-30 minutes a game but not the 35+ that Ime gives to guys he trusts.
Considering Reed is sub 190 lbs... he may break if he takes too many charges. I rather have him side step and strip the ball away on drives.
