My guess is that he will be in the Top 30 coaches in winning percentage of all time (He's currently 23rd for those who coached a full season). That said, I expect he will coach a lot of winning teams, but doubt he wins an NBA championship because those are hard to do even with a Top 5 player. Fans will remember him as a crappy coach despite his many wins.

Ime is a lousy coach, he is fundamentally broken - has no clue how to run proper offensive sets. He is a guy who barely made the league by playing tough fundamentally sound defense, and he over values that area - which is not winning basketball. Good offense is better than good defense......you have to embrace balance to win, Ime is unbalanced and costs his team too often - he has no answer to help - a below average coach and fake integrity guy to boot. Since the Rockets implemented his last in the NBA pace and overrebounding strategy after the 2024 ASB the Rockets have the exact same record. He implemented a system for a team that couldn't shoot. It's the only way he knows how to play or coach.
