    "bUt iTs MaTchsUps"

Sheppard is averaging a crazy amount vs GS, last game vs Philly he had over 25

    Minutes the last 3 games

    26 minutes

    21 minutes

    19 minutes

all vs severely depleted teams on the end of the season without too many stakes. Everyone knows whats going to happen this post season. Hopefully some folks don't waste good money watching the breakdown we saw pre Sheppard starting

We literally discussed this in the other thread...you tried to argue that okogie was a better offensive player than sheppard. I quoted you and you got schit on by several people and didn't respond

Its not my job to do your homework. Look up the first rule of statistics and maybe you'll understand why you come across as a moron.

Hint: If you use AI it will take you a couple of seconds here

Nothing to do with Race at all, it is simply basketball - Reed makes it go in for everyone he makes the game better.

I don't give two ***** for color of skin, just are you skilled?

i never said Okogie was a better offensive player (putting words in my mouth) - i said we didnt show a major droppoff in our offense when Okogie was in rather than Reed... and here ya go.... 125 ORTG w Okogie... 121.2 w Reed... thos are the facts... thats the actual data...

if u look at it objectively... u will see that our starting lineup has a higher net ortg w Okogie or Eason - rather than reed...

    THOSE are the numbers, homeboy...

I'm sorry that the FACTS dont fit your agenda...

but u just keep going on muddying the water with personal insults...

    smh...

Reed Sheppard isn't a developmental player - he averaged 14 points a game, he is the second best shooter on the team and he leads the team in ass/to ratio.... so he hasn't been more prone to turnovers than anyone else on the team.

We can debate his defense - but the lack of a center and having a Turkish traffic cone in the lane is a large part of any defensive issues the Rockets have.

I said Reed should be in the game down the stretch if we are not protecting the ball. You’re being just as single and simple minded as Ime. Reed is not the cure all. There are situations and games where he should sit less and games where he should sit more. Unfortunately, we have a coach that doesn’t know how to figure when to do what. Starting Reed against Maxey and Edgecombe was dumb. There are other matchups that it would be dumb not to start Reed. If Reed and Sengun are getting beat continuously on defense and not able to make it up on offense one needs to sit. That is what bench coaching is all about. Same goes for virtually everybody on the Rockets.

And not only is his +/- this season the third best on the team but his BPM is also the 32nd best in the league this year.

imo... i love Reed but he is better with the second unit...
in order to offset Reed's defensive liabilities, we need high-volume shooting from him...
if he is on the floor w KD and Sengun, he's not getting that volume.... nor should he imo...
Having Reed out there playing defense for 10 possessions, but only being an offensive factor in 2 of those possessions, is not a good split for us...
if hes out there with Clint, DFS or whoever... they help offset his defensive limitations and open up his time to fire away....

plus... ive noticed when Reed comes into a game sporadically, he doesnt get hunted on defense nearly as often... when he starts, teams gameplan for that...

The movement away from analytics is as concerning as the poorness of Ime's coaching.

As I said before GREAT coaches FORCE you to adjust they don't run into every game trying something new, it screws chemistry.

Ime is a mediocre coach at best, he isn't helping at all......Imagine how good the Rockets would be with a Rudy T type of coach, or an Adelman - so so much better.

And you can stagger your offensive players to cover for a weak bench.....

It's the same 4 or 5 guys that just don't like Reed (no matter how much they claim to be objective) that will say blatantly false things to downplay his impact. It's not a coincidence when Reed was being featured and playing really well they were not posting. As soon as Ime decided Reed was getting his minutes and role cut again (despite playing well) they swarm to the threads making outlandish claims all while being incredibly smug.

It's the opposite. Ime knows that if Reed starts, FVV is gone and so is his dumb system and he cannot coach another way. The Rockets NEED another coach.

    He's not Curry 2.0 - wishful thinking.
Reed will be targeted heavy on defense in the playoffs. I think its a good thing Ime is finally tinkering around with different lineups. Hopefully, he continues that approach in the playoffs because his stubbornness of not adjusting is a big reason we lost to the Warriors last year.

I love Reed. Literally just bought his jersey last night. BUT - his defense, albeit getting better, still concerns me come playoffs. We all know teams are going to be coming at him HARD (pause) on that end.

I really hope he steps up and hits shots consistently for the team and hold his own on defense. If he can do that (and Tari and Jabari have good games), we'll be a pretty damn good playoff team.

Agreed. Having Sengun and Reed out on the court at the same time makes our defense more vulnerable. However, it wouldn't matter if Reed is knocking down his shots. I'm glad Ime is finally making some type of adjustments. There is hope...

****ing embarassing, you legitimately posted one of the most retrded things on this forum and are trying to deny it

You are stuck on the short bus crew today. Again, look at the Record (I'm sorry that the actual win - loss doesn't support you homeboy...MAYBE DIG INTO WHY) and try to figure out why what you posted doesn't conform with reality.

Hint..look up the FIRST rule of statistics. Its not my job to do your homework for you. We have AI, so get the **** on it

This is why I don't engage with you, you just got caught lying. And then you respond with bUT sTaTs. You just said you didn't say something, I showed you that you did say one of the stupidest things on this forum.

I explained why your cherry picked number doesn't support a basic objective data point like a win - loss record with almost a quarter of a season of sample size.

You ignored it and then cry about why I'm not using your flawed sample/reasoning.
