Dude, this 100%, whining about the wrong issue. They'll beat the injured Lakers homecourt or no homecourt, the lakers suck. The bigger potential issue is if Denver loses one of their games and Lakers win the next two, then we play the Nuggets lol.. weird thread man

I think they have somewhat figured how to combat this......

Lakers should beat the Suns, assuming the Suns rest players. But the Lakers could still lose to the Jazz in the final game...

Assuming on Friday the Jazz lose to Memphis and the Nets lose to the bucks, the Nets can clinch the #3 draft lotto spot with a loss to the Raptors on Sunday at 6pm EST.

The Jazz/Lakers don't tip off until 8:30pm EST, so the Jazz will be locked into #4 at that time, and they'll be able to play to win.

    It's a chance!

The concern isn't the Rockets being the 5th seed vs the Lakers. It's the Rockets being the 5th seed vs the Nuggets.

This could still easily happen. Booker is sitting out vs the Lakers and Green is questionable for that game too. I assume Denver beats OKC at home since the Thunder are sittiing half their players, but what if the Spurs win against them on Sunday?

And honestly, San Antonio has incentive to try to win that game. They'd much rather their 2nd round opponent be either a hobbled Lakers team or the T'Wolves than the Nuggets.

Some of you are assuming that we will be playing the Lakers, but Denver is definitely still in play.

Rockets aren’t lucky enough to draw the Lakers home court or not that is the best first round matchup. I assume we’ll get the Nuggets and have to slog that one out.

I have to admit I’m not really super excited to actually have to watch this team in a playoff setting. With point guard Sengun and just the grind it out nature of Ime’s game play it’s just hard to watch this team in close game scenarios.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for them and ride or die… but damn this team plays some hard to watch bball when it’s a close matchup.

No.. the Rockets losing many games that they had no business losing is giving Lakers home court. What a ****ing joke. Also Denver has to play Spurs and Thunder next two games so unless they sit out some of their guys then we might not even be playing the Lakers. Anything can happen.

Ultimately, we just need more weapons. We’ll be losing KD in a year or two and need answers.

Booker, Jalen Green, Highsmith, Jordan Goodwin OUT against Lakers.

DBrooks, Gillespie, Grayson, Mark Williams, Fleming, Ighodaro, Royce O'Neale, Maluach playing though.

Offense vs Defense......LeFinalBron vs Villain Brooks. Dominayton vs Almost Laker Williams.

Yep, and if I'm the Spurs, I'm definitely trying to win that game against Denver if it would push them into OKC's bracket (with us) and give SAS the winner of the LAL/MIN series.
