I guess R33D needs to go drop the hammer on Cole Zwicker’s girl to get some respect from Ime Long and not lose minutes to scrappy tough journeymen.

 

It is shocking that a guy who led the team to 16-4 as a starter is just ripped in and out of the lineup....a 40% 3pt shooter who is a great passer, and team player is just ignored.

I am convinced Ime has no idea what he has in Reed.....and would have benched Steph Curry for a guy who can play defense.

Keeping Reed off the floor didn't slow the Sixers down one little bit. Reed sits for reasons while Amen continuously fumbles the ball in the 4th quarter, forcing KD to bring it up.

I would be shocked if Sengun and Reed don't end up in Milwaukee. The only way it doesn't happen is if Giannis refuses to come here.

True. This pattern gives a Psychological burden on reed to immediately shoot well. The moment he has a let down, he'd be ripped out.

Initially i had no doubts about ime's subconscious bias. But as i red the comments in the clutch fans and observed through this season, is started to believe ime does indeed have this tendency.

 

Then there's a decent chance that they lose in the first round as a favorite to a old yellow California team that looked washed before playing the Rockets, for the second year in a row.

But I'm sure trading him and Sengun for a 32 year old Giannis who can't shoot to pair with a 38 year old Kevin Durant will surely fix all our problems and result in a title, and not another accelerated flameout into a rebuild by replacing all the young guys with old dudes like the Suns did.

I'm not going to mark anything. If Reed can't hit shots and opponents run him ragged on the other end, he won't play much. Since he is the youngest player on the team and this is his first taste of playoff basketball, he's the most likely candidate to end up with a reduced role.

If Reed is effective on offense and serviceable on the other end, he'll get his 25 mins. But I expect the other team to try and physically bully him all over the place and make him prove he can handle it.

 

This is Ime we're talking about. If he does bench Reed, it'll likely be in favor of more minutes for Tari and Jae'Sean instead.

The man is still obsessed with those lineups featuring 4 or 5 wings. He ran one out there tonight in the 4th quarter when the Sixers made their run.

 

That is for certain about to happen, maybe not Curry but Dell 3.0 and Ray Allen 2.0.

I agree this is likely the case. He’ll get a look each night in the playoffs but I do think Ime will pull him quick if he sees the other coach game planning to take advantage of him, and Reed doing Reed things on defense.

Long term we all know that the front office is high on him and he’s the 3rd pick in the draft so they are going to have to factor him into their plans long term or trade him whether Ime likes it or not. So I wouldn’t worry about him being a bench scrub next year.

That being said if Fred comes back next season looking like he has another 5 years left in him I wouldn’t be shocked if Stone makes a trade just given the fact that he won’t want fo make a decision on extending him if he thinks he’s not going to play next season much at all.

So I’m not worried about it. We all know Ime is going to run out some grind it out ugly as hell basketball in the playoffs regardless. Ime loves winning the hard way for some reason.
