I can’t believe how disastrous the pitching staff has been. It would have been better to just let a position player pitch this inning.

I’m at the game, and was at the game Monday.
The sad thing is, these are like home games, it’s always mostly Astros fans here. This game sucks

 

I remember when Valdez, LMJ, Garcia, Javier, and Urquidy looked like a promising young rotation back in 2021. Other than Valdez, ruined by so many injuries

 

Who knows if it would have mattered but bringing in Blubaugh, who has been a starter throughout his career, into this game instead of a reliever after Javier left the game was ****ing stupid. Should have then brought Blubaugh in to pitch the third then after letting him go through his routine.

We’re gonna have a position player on the mound by the 5th inning.

Espada shouldn’t be managing a little league team much less the Astros. This is ridiculous.

 

Swept by the Rockies. Good lord what is happening.

 

You expect Espada to realize this, just like when he brought in Weiss during the middle of an inning instead of using a reliever to finish the 5th.
