I should say I have nothing personal against Green. It is not Green's fault he was drafted where he was, and that he was played over better players. Green did not develop as well as I had hoped. He is not the type of player that I like the way he currently plays. His type of player typically gets overpaid which hurts the team. He is also the type of player that other people like a lot more than me. I should not let my dislike for Green's current and past game affect my view of Green the person. I will say a part of me does not want to hear I told you so if Green explodes, though. The Green fans are bad enough when he's not playing well or has a good month.
I don't hate Jalen at all but I enjoy making fun of him. Been watching DB since his days at Oregon. Love the guy, even though he does so much dumb stuff that often fires up the opponent to the detriment of his team. His intensity is great but he's never learned to read the room.
Cutino Mobley said Green has been failed by coaching and his vets. Said he’s jsut as talent as he was and anybody’s that’s come into the league at that age. but the difference was he played multiple year of college when college coaches actually coached and developed and he had Rudy T, Scottie pippen Dream and Barkley and then glen rice , Shannon Anderson and Walt Williams. By year 3 he figured it out Green came into a terrible situation from an irrelevant situation with the gleague ignite. I think we could’ve organically tanked without a terrible coach like Silas. We didn’t have any real vets. Wall was fighting for his career, Dipo too and Wood was terrible vet. From my understanding all the past nba players said Green works hard off the court. We just had the wrong culture for development.
always an excuse... 1. JG opted to not go to college because it was too much work and gleague was easier 2. Alpi had coach Silas and vets Wall, Dipo, and Wood as well 3. JG works hard on his front-running, highlight reels, celebrations, chucking thats it
And Booker remains the most overrated allstar in the game. If he wasn't gifted so many FTs (16 tonight!) then people might realize he kind of sucks. His big hangup remains that he can't shoot the 3. I also don't think he's a good defender. I remember he was overrated and then he played well in the Olympics maybe? And then everyone (media) started talking about how great he was. Nope, still kind of a meh 2nd best player. He is what has hamstrung the Suns, he's their best player and he's not very good. They should rip off a team and try to get 2 or 3 FRPs or something like that. (And he'll be 30 in 6 months.)
i disagree. Amen has been very impactful defensively. The expectation for Amen to be Jason Kidd and Kawhi is kinda nuts.
They called him the big glue guy on Team Olympic USA......as he refined his passing game due to CP3 mentorship. He isn't on the same level of KD though, although I think he is wasting his time in Phoenix, should have joined the Celtics when he had a chance. Tb fair, he is also not a high maintenance douche like KD...... He told the narrative of playing for 1 single franchise like his Idol Kobe or like perhaps Steph Curry.
It was obvious day 1 that Jalen was never going to be it......his mental makeup is all wrong. That doesn't mean he is a bust, he is a decent NBA player but not worthy of a number 2 pick. DD
I got into hendrix well after albums but in terms of singles: hey joe, voodoo, watchtower, little wing , hear my train a coming, bld as love come to mind for singles
Jumping on this as a guitarist/Hendrix super fan. If we're only counting the actual Experience albums then for me: Axis:Bold As Love, Electric Ladyland, Are You Experienced best to worst. I really got into playing Hendrix more than just listening with the material on Axis, especially Little Wing and Castles Made of Sand, just love those cascading/psychedelic rhythms. Probably a controversial ranking, but I was doing a lot of acid/shrooms/dmt/2c's/etc around the time of learning those lol. Ah to be a teen again.
The triad embellishments, playing rhythm and lead parts at the same time is what got me into Jimi I heard double stops of little wing / watchtower on guitar and couldn’t believe how layered it sounded and was like ..I have to be able to do that. Tried learning as many of his tunes as I could. Hey Joe is still my favorite, play different fills everytime and it’s so much fun
