sadly the media narrative has shifted away from Amen. everyone in the rockets fandom was getting mad at the glazing to start the season. Now people think he sucks. Finally a Houston player had the media backing and we blew it. Ive heard podcast people say Amen gets a D for the season.
I remember every time DB stupidly awoke the other team’s best scorer by meaningless trash talk…feels good to be part of the other side of that.
All in all, Jabari 20 pts on 18 shots. Not good , but yes not as bad as percentage would indicate Amen Thompson cuz he doesn't take 3's, can have games like that when he's 10 for 18 from the field.
Sengun looked like he belonged in a rec league somewhere for most of that game. Credit to him for putting some nice minutes together in the 4th.

So proud of this team being so resilient! Down 20+ in the 1st Q, still destroyed the Suns by 4Q. I guess the Rockets really dont need a pg, they just need guys who can hit 3s. Rox hit 14 threes to Suns 7 (lol). Screw the refs! Booker at 1 point had more fta than the entire Rox team. They tried so hard to rob us and failed!
My favorite play was when Bari blocked a dunk to Tari who dribbled a bit and lobbed it a little too high--only for Amen to dunk it anyway. Basically the very next play Tari got it poked away from behind on a fastbreak, so his awareness is still the same as ever

Sengun was god awful for 3 quarters. It’s what’s scary about the playoffs is the refs can just decide to take him out the game like tonight. His turnovers are over blown cuz he got called for some absolute bogus offensive fouls in the first half. But I loved how he bounced back. KD said it in his post game. Alpi was absolutely dominant in the fourth quarter. To me he was our best player in the fourth. By the time he checked out with 5 minutes left the game was basically over cuz he took over scoring at will, finding teammates, controlling the boards. Hopefully they let him play physical in the playoffs.
