If they can beat the 76ers, and on b2b play up to the Wolves, then you know your team caught on fire. Home court helps. They look solid thou in this run..
If Rox get the 3rd seed or when, they are probably facing Wolves in the 1st, Spurs in the 2nd, Thunder in the 3rd, Boston/Detroit in the 4th. Win it, build Snake Dickerson a statue and a shrine, then we have it.
Coming back from trailing by double-digit is definitely better than dropping such a lead. Crossing fingers to secure the 4th to meet the Lakers - with HCA, no Reaves and potentially no Luka (or at least a limited Luka) we should beat them. And if somehow we don’t - then we’ll have a good justification to shake things up regarding the coaching staff..
Normally I'd agree, you'd like to catch a beat up team in the playoffs ..... but this is the Lebron Lakers, Lebron might get gifted enough FT attempts to win the series.
Didn't they get swept by Timberwolves last year? I think commissioner would appreciate a bit more competitive second round than whatever Lukaless Lakers can provide.
they're finally starting to play team ball. I like how Udoka is playing both Okogie and Tate for small spurts. They help raise the energy level a lot.
Everything starts with good D and hitting your shots. When our guys can do both consistently, we’re damn tough to beat.
not winning a championship but winning a series and taking the thunder to 6 or 7 games would be a success in my opinion
Eh, they're playing with more effort. They still have the same problems getting into a consistent offense with 2 or more non shooters on the court. Then, when they get our best offense on the court we can't defend anyone. We continue to get throttled when Reed and Sengun share the court and have success when they are staggered. That's why you see the bench have such high +/- on a night like last night.
