Fars News Agency quoted "a source on Wednesday as saying that the proposed plan for negotiations includes restricting and limiting daily ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks.

The source indicated that passage through the Strait of Hormuz would be under the Safe Passage Protocol, overseen by Iran, and noted that the proposed plan includes Iran's commitment not to possess nuclear weapons.

The source said that Washington would accept Iran's right to enrich uranium, and negotiations would focus on the level of enrichment.

The source confirmed that Iran would be compensated for its losses through the establishment of an investment and financial fund, indicating that a formal UN resolution would be issued on the matter."

Iran has suffered substantial damage to its infrastructure and its leadership. By no means is Iran winning a conventional war — but that was largely impossible. It’s more that the US and Israel have lost. The damage to the US and its international standing is massive. Trump also has accomplished none of his objectives in Iran, as he just requested an increase in defense spending.

This is a massive “L” for America and Israel… right now 75% of Americans under 50 have a negative opinion of Israel. Right now the USA has a worse international reputation than the CCP.

This administration is stacking losses and we all will have to deal with the long term consequences.

 

Explain why you feel this way. We have alienated our allies, they have been working out their own deals with Iran. It was so bad that not a single ally helped us. The strait was open before we attacked. Now it is only open with Iran charging large tolls and Iran controlling who can and can’t get through. Iran still has control of their plutonium. The prior Ayatollah was terminally ill and now is a martyr and his son, who is more of a hardliner is now in charge. We have also galvanized the Iranian people into hating us. We have lost the trust of our Middle Eastern allies as well. We also look weak to China, who have also become more hostile to Taiwan when we focused on Iran.

This has been a disaster so far, and Trump capitulated and agreed to the terms wanted by Iran.

We went into this believing there would be regime change.

 

US can always wins the battles due to superior military force but like Vietnam, iraq, Afghanistan and now Iran we can never win the war due to the amount of resources and resilience of these nations.

To the magatards they cant conceptualize US suffering a strategic defeat bc they do not understand the geopolitics in play. Sure we didnt lose any battles but we didnt achieve anything meaningful either. Its a defeat bc Iran was able to fend us off and now have leverage over the entire world simply by controlling the strait of hormuz .

 

We need to quit cozying up to Israel. Republicans have their heads so far stuck up Israel’s ass they couldn’t possibly be America first.
