The last time a human was far enough from Earth to see the entire globe was 1972.

"It's a waste of money! They’re just flying around the moon! What’s the point of that? It’s like telling your kids you’re going to Disney World, and then you just take them to Goofy Lot D and go home.” --Charles Barkley

It been talked about, but still flying under the radar is the Occam’s razor. The moon race is on and all this marketing is likely the facade it smells and looks like. This is more likely about China vs. the USA and strategic positioning as well as defense of the moon and the space between the moon and earth. Minerals possibly. National Defense highly probable. Mars is near impossible to return from and the historical nonsense they are blowing about a return to the moon just isn’t logical. This to me is the occams razor. Not conspiracy. I don’t like it. It creates tension. But it goes to show you human nature never changes even though it is capable of it.

Don’t they mean “slips between Sun and Artemis” … not Sun and Earth

Between Sun and Earth would mean we are at a New Moon stage right now … the next new moon is April 17th. Not to mentions the “Earthset” they show clearly has Sun at a large angle, not in some type of alignment

but I can make mistakes, so check important information

The 10-Year-Old Nikon D5 DSLR Really Is the Best Camera for Artemis II

It’s easy to wonder why the Artemis II astronauts, who are part of an Artemis program costing many billions of dollars to operate, are using an old DSLR that, frankly, was not particularly beloved at the time of its release.

However, it’s not strange when the context is teased apart. Beyond one of the most important factors, that the Nikon D5 is a proven, tested camera that NASA knows can handle the harsh environment of space, the D5 is also a uniquely capable camera for this specific situation.
