Maybe Ime wanted Alpi to spend another 8 seconds of the remaining 10 on the shot clock to dance his way into the paint for a closer shot. That's how Sengun is supposed to operate getting the ball outside of the 3pt line.

That clip shows precisely what kind of coach Udoka is and it will be absolutely asinine if Stone OR Fertitts doesn't address this in the offseason! It's true that coaches don't play a single possession during a game but that doesn't mean that they don't affect the games outcome!! He has been exposed ad nauseam this year as being an incompetent leader of men!! I for one can't wait for his reign of ineptitude to be over!!!!!

(P.S.) Alpi keeping his composure during Udoka's tirade is commendable!! I'm not sure I have that kind of self control..

Sounds almost inconceivably intelligent for a r****d.

FKUC you KDF. Bithcazz trying to ruin my core. Hope our guys drive GOAT bus-rider to a title this year and he can go off and be target practice for some Shaheed drones or something.

Just saw the clip of Ime scolding him like he's a child after that three. Sengun deserves much better than a coach who actively discourages him from developing into a stretch five. This is an awful look. Banchero and Scottie are allowed to take as many threes as they want even though neither of them is an average three point shooter and you want your best player to pump the brakes just as he's starting to gain confidence from the perimeter. And Sengun has better stroke than Scottie and Banchero. I want this guy gone in the offseason so badly. He just sucks at every aspect of coaching. He's a drill sergeant nothing more.

jokes apart, what is it that we are expected to see in this picture that gives a clue whether he likes alpi or not?

Sengun should be shooting around 3 3’s a game. You have to make teams at least attempt to cover him out there, and he’s shown lately that he can hit the at at least a decent clip.

The problem in the past is he’d shoot one and just give up if he missed it. No shooter can keep a decent average doing that.

Now I’m not saying with the game on the line he should shoot it yet, but it’s something he needs to develop.

The biggest difference between Jokic and Sengun is that Sengun often struggles with defensive oriented centers/forwards who's job is to slow him down. He feasts on centers that cant handle him or need to conserve energy for offense.

Jokic plays as if those players arent even there.

Stop whining. He took a stupid 3 and got his azz scolded just like Ime does everybody. Sengun's not above criticism. You & his fanbase are quick to baby him when he makes low IQ plays. Not sure why the Turkish fans are so freaking sensitive

Sengun deserves? He's not good enough to be entitled to anything. We're not talking about Jokic or prime Embiid. We deserve to see Sengun move his feet faster on defense

just to be clear, you are accusing the guy with a join date of 2003 and 10,000 posts to be a SOF from Turkey?

That poster incessantly attacks any criticism of Udoka's coaching. If his join date was in the past 3 years, I might think it's Ime's burner account.

These are sleeper cells, very common for non American posters who are tired of bs like this. You create one account in every fan forum and you can hide your only fandom easily. But some have sharper eyes and don’t fall for that.

Alpi just isn't as good as Jokic. That is a fact that I have no problem with. Comparisons to Jokic are not fair to him.

My gripe is Alpi gets down on himself and often starts slacking when defenders get physical enough with him and he misses a few shots. Instead, he should get angry, more physical and adapt his offensive tactics accordingly. This is what real superstars do.
