• New York: Along with Florida, California, and Texas, New York accounts for a disproportionate share of federal fraud flags. Recent cases include an indictment for a multi-billion dollar scheme, the largest by loss amount ever charged by the DOJ.
• New Jersey: Ranked in the top five states for Medicare fraud pattern flags by OpenMedicare, making up approximately 6.6% of flagged providers nationwide.
