Oh don't get me wrong, loved that game from Jabari tonight. I'm usually one of his more vocal critics but yeah, boy done good today.

Two things that Ime did that he has not done previously and cost us games.

Call a timeout to draw up a ****ing play. Kudos for doing that today instead of hoping a KD iso would do the trick.

Getting KD to move quickly on the iso and not letting the defense set and a hard cut by Sengun. The fact that Ime drew up Sengun ****ing catching the inbounds and handing it to KD immediately going down hill was a good play. What have we gotten several times this season? A take the clock down to 0 KD or Sengun iso only to lead to some garbage shot.

 

nah. You can flip it and say they got lucky we missed a wide open alley oop or some wide open threes and layups. It happens. It came down to couple scores at the right time and a stop in the end

 

Luckily Bari kept his cool because we all know washed-ass Draymond's schtick was to get a double ejection and exchange our (to that point) most effective player with his bum self.

Still would've loved to see him get smacked tho

Game ball goes to KD, Sengun, Jabari, Amen, Holiday and Reed. Rockets were Shohoku from Slamdunk tonight, 6 good players and a bunch of trash.

LVP goes to Tari and Udoka. If Draymond had Tari's body he would be a perennial all star, instead Tari is one of the dumbest active players right now. How can you be 6'7, 7'2 wingspan, be athletic AF and still convert at a disastrous 53% TS? Dude takes the dumbest and most ill advised shots on offense and makes dumb fouls on defense. He is the oldest of the core guys but is the most immature and still has the rawest game.

Udoka tried his best to lose this game. What is with that garbage lineup having Tari, Tate and Okogie together? Hello? Not only that Capela only played 3 mins despite Udoka wanting more defense and rebounding. How about a shot blocking paint protector if you wanted defense and rebounding? LOL wtf. Its not Tari and Tate were stopping people out there Steph drained 3s right in their face regardless.

He even got on Sengun for shooting 3s, I thought one big goal is for him to become a stretch C so he and Amen can co-exist long term? If Udoka doesnt want Sengun shooting 3s, how about go to him in the post? You keep letting Sengun get the ball at the 3 pt line but dont want him shooting 3s make it make sense lol. 16 secs in the game, down 1 and 2 timeouts left. Udoka just doesnt know how to maximize the resources he has.

They trapped durant baseline Sengun just stood there and not run out to get the ball. No one else came to the ball or tried to cut.

Thompson missed a wide open alley oop. Sengun hoisted a 3.

Holiday didn’t shoot with the clock running down and passed it off to okogie i think who also didn’t take a shot.

Ofc he can’t draw he doesn’t even know how tictactoe works, he plays the game of chess like it’s checkers he’s a bird brain

 

This team is far from perfect but they are climbing at the right team of the year. We have two no shows in Tari and DFS and two missing key guys in FVV and Adams.

We can get to the second round and to ME, that’s a successful season

 

Ok so why didnt Udoka call a timeout and tell his players not to do that? Player decision making supposed to be guided and augmented by the coach thats why he is there. 16 secs left Udoka still had 2 time outs remaining. Dude doesnt do any coaching in game.

GSW lost but you can see Kerr doing everything to get that dub being active on the sidelines, making corrects subs and calling plays that got Steph open. Udoka just aura farming the entire game the only time he did anything was get mad at Sengun for taking that 3.

In fact GSW is so bad outside Steph and old ass Dray who do they have? They have minimums like GP2 and Pat Spencer still almost beat the Rockets. Thats coaching. They have a good coach we have a bad coach and almost lost as a result.

 

No it's not. Your expectations having Durant is 2nd round? Really? Because FVV is injured?

This season has been well below successful...it's been downright disappointing, with the level of play and definitely with the coaching/gm.

 

I don't want to lose or win by watching Tate or the turnovers while trying to force feed KD. Everything on the court shows how this team should play and who should play. ime just needs to look and accept the facts.

I saw this story before. He is forced to make changes, he makes them. It gives good result. When things get tougher in a game or in the playoffs, he defaults to his stupid habits. Hopefully he learnt something and will not do it this time.

 

I wonder what Tari will be worth in the offseason. Because he's absolutely tanked any value he's had, pretty much, and even Ime (who I assume is his biggest fan) benched him.

Tari has gone from one of my favorite Rockets to one of the most frustrating and most annoying ones. It's a little sad

 

Durant isnt a cure all PHX didnt even make the playoffs with him last year suddenly Rox should make WCF just by adding him and losing FVV and Adams lol.

Durant is an upgrade to JG and Brooks. Thats it. He isnt supposed to be better than 3 starters and our 6th man last year combined. Dude is on the last legs of his career he is supposed to be the ceiling riser he isnt gonna carry this team from the ground up.

 

You don’t know what Udoka taught or how he and the staff trained them for in practice or said to them in huddles.

Coaches can’t always call timeouts and tell teams “that”. Players have to play on their own and execute period

16 seconds 2 timeouts? If you miss you foul and have an extra timeout. What are you talking about now dude

Players on the floor need to execute at the end of the day. You ever been part of a team? How many students still fail despite great teaching in class? That’s personal initiative.

Those plays on the court in those critical moments were executed by players.

What are you talking about? The warriors had several miscues and lack of execution down the stretch. You act like they were flawless.

Udoka made some good moves. Benched sengun after a stupid 3. Took out Sheppard forr defensive purposes. Put in his defensive unit in stretches. Those were the right calls.

 

Positives from tonight.

This win on the Road secures the Rockets having a winning record at home and away this season.

And

It secures that Golden State will have a losing record this season.
