    American First FY2027 Budget

Source: White House Budget of the U.S. Government

    AI:

The FY2027 proposal shifts federal priorities dramatically toward military spending while cutting domestic investment. The budget raises defense and war-related spending to about $1.5 trillion (a roughly 44% increase) while cutting about 10% from non-defense domestic programs.

The budget proposes $10B for a Washington D.C. beautification program (possibly for things like new monuments with a certain branding on it) while cutting housing, food aid, and education programs nationwide.

A one-year increase of this size in military funding is extremely rare outside major wars. The proposal heavily prioritizes weapons production, nuclear modernization, and expansion of the military-industrial base, signaling preparation for sustained war production.

    Total discretionary spending:
$2.18 trillion in FY2027 (up from $1.89 trillion in FY2026).

    Major Spending Increases
Total defense / war expansion: roughly $500B+

    Defense / War overall:
+$441B (44% increase — largest defense budget in U.S. history at about $1.5T)

    Beautify Washington D.C.:
+$10B "Presidential Capital Stewardship Program" for a federal initiative to restore and beautify the nation’s capital.

    Shipbuilding ("Golden Fleet"):
+$65.8B for new naval vessels including submarines and expanded fleet construction.

    Missile defense systems:
Large investments in homeland missile defense and space-based detection systems.

    Nuclear weapons modernization:
+$3.6B for warhead development, nuclear infrastructure, and next-generation naval reactors.

    Critical munitions production:
Major expansion of manufacturing for high-priority weapons and ammunition stockpiles.

    AI and drone warfare:
Large new investments in military AI systems, autonomous weapons, and counter-drone technology.

    Border enforcement:
+$190B multi-year funding for expanded detention capacity, deportation operations, and border infrastructure.

    Military pay:
Pay increases for service members (largest increases focused on junior enlisted).

    NASA Moon program (Artemis):
+$731M supporting a planned Moon landing and lunar infrastructure.

    Energy and strategic reserves:
+$4.8B for energy security programs including AI-related power infrastructure and refilling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

    Air traffic control modernization:
+$481M for hiring controllers and upgrading aviation systems.

    Secret Service:
+$36M plus additional multi-year funding for staffing and technology upgrades.

    Domestic Program Cuts
    Total domestic cuts: roughly $120B+

These reductions affect a wide range of programs that fund research, infrastructure, education, and economic development.

    Clean energy programs:
–$19.4B (cuts to solar, wind, EV charging, and other energy transition programs)

    Foreign aid and global health:
–$22.5B (reductions to international development, disease prevention, and humanitarian aid)

    Housing and homelessness programs:
    –$12B in HUD funding reductions

    Education programs:
–$10.8B in federal education grants and teacher training programs

Medical research (NIH and health programs):
–$10B affecting university research and biomedical labs

    NASA science missions:
–$9B including cancellation of multiple space science programs

    Environmental protection:
    –$7.1B reduction to EPA programs

    Worker training and labor programs:
–$5.1B including elimination of Job Corps and workforce programs

    Agriculture and rural development:
–$4.9B reduction in farm research and rural grants

    Low-income energy assistance (LIHEAP):
–$4B elimination of heating and cooling assistance

    College and university support programs:
    –$2.7B reduction

    Broadband expansion:
–$2.2B reduction affecting rural internet infrastructure

    NOAA weather and ocean research:
–$1.6B cut affecting forecasting and fisheries programs

    Refugee and migration support programs:
    –$1.6B reduction

    IRS enforcement:
–$1.4B reduction affecting tax enforcement staffing

    FEMA preparedness grants:
–$1.3B reduction for state disaster planning

    Anti-poverty community grants:
–$775M elimination of Community Action programs

    Cybersecurity (CISA):
–$707M reduction affecting election and infrastructure security

    Small Business Administration:
–$671M reduction in small business support programs

    Rural air service subsidies:
    –$372M reduction

    Democracy promotion programs abroad:
    –$315M eliminated

    Community development financial institutions:
    –$204.5M reduction

    Overall Direction
The FY2027 budget reflects a major shift in federal priorities during the war with Iran:

Military and war spending expands dramatically
Weapons production and military capacity are prioritized
Domestic investment in education, science, infrastructure, and social programs declines

The scale of the defense increase — combined with expanded munitions production and military industrial capacity — suggests either preparation for prolonged conflict, or an aggressive effort to restock depleted weapons stockpiles following military operations against Iran. Either way, it represents a wartime-level investment.

Donnie figured out the war racket is a bigger grift than than the real estate money laundering racket.

Steal money straight from taxpayers. You don't need to rely on Russian mob bosses and oligarchs.

So did his sons. They are all in on the grift, with Daddy's help.

Company backed by Trump sons looks to sell drone interceptors to Gulf states being attacked by Iran

Do they do anything at all to help Americans? Literally everything they want to do is meant to harm or destroy the lives of people.

That's my industry. LIHEAP is an important safety net. Cutting it is a very stupid idea. Tweet is right, it would kill people. More households yet would be ruined by the distress costs. And all ratepayers would still pay for the bad debt of former LIHEAP recipients anyway, so no benefit for the rest of us.

Do you think Trump even blinks an eye at letting Americans die in pursuit of what he thinks of as his own legacy?

I'm pretty confident he'll let as many die as he needs to. He could not care less, so long as he doesn't have to personally assume that debt. Then he'd move heaven and earth.

Why would he care now at almost 80 years old when he never gave a damn about anyone but himself before? He's a fake patriot in every sense of the word. It's all about him. Always has been, and always will be. He can flex his so called military intelligence all he wants, but he will always sacrifice the health and safety of Americans to reap in the rewards. Whether it's raping and molesting young girls, bombing civilians, bending a knee to Putin and Netaynhu, or coddling to the billionaires in the world, he doesn't give a damn what harm he causes to our troops or Americans. He is a nasty, vulgar excuse of a human being in every sense of the word. What a fake Christian and despicable human being he is.

A $440 B increase in the defense, when it's already 1 trillion a year, is absurd and makes this bill dead on arrival, the other programs don't actually fund what they say they do. They go through various NGO's to be abused by bad actors. For example, the kids of Soleimani were driving around in G wagons and private helicopters in LA living the high life off American taxpayer money. Hamas and various militant groups around the world are funded by American taxpayer money. So cutting the head off the snake is a prudent move -- but the savings should be invested in the American people, not expanding the military and foreign wars.

**** the GOP and their WAR mongering distraction, they should all be in jail for treason, and not doing their jobs they know Trump is a traitor - and won't hold him accountable just to keep in power.

    Unreal, they all must go.

The government has always been a big ole. Money Laundering Scheme
they just rachetted it up to 11

    500$ Hammers etc

I don't believe any of these numbers:

The B-2 Spirit is the most expensive aircraft ever produced, with a total program cost of approximately $2.1 billion per unit. At the other end of the scale, older, high-volume fighters like the F-16 are considerably more affordable, costing around $35 million each.

    Fighter Jets
Modern fighter jets are characterized by advanced stealth and sensor technology, which drives up their price.
    • F-22 Raptor: While the official flyaway cost is listed at $143 million, the total production and development cost is estimated at roughly $334 million to $350 million per aircraft.
    • F-35 Lightning II:
      • F-35A (Air Force): ~$82.5 million.
      • F-35B (Marine Corps - Vertical Takeoff): ~$109 million.
      • F-35C (Navy - Carrier Variant): ~$102.1 million.
    • F-15EX Eagle II: The newest version of the F-15 costs approximately $97 million.
    • F/A-18E/F Super Hornet: Costs between $67 million and $73 million depending on the configuration.

    Bombers & Specialized Aircraft
These larger platforms carry much higher price tags due to their size and specialized missions.
    • B-2 Spirit: ~$2.1 billion per unit.
    • B-21 Raider: The next-generation stealth bomber is estimated to cost about $750 million to $800 million per unit.
    • E-2D Advanced Hawkeye: An early-warning aircraft costing about $232 million.
    • P-8A Poseidon: A maritime patrol jet (based on the Boeing 737) that costs roughly $290 million.

    Transport & Presidential Aircraft
    • VC-25B (New Air Force One): The replacement for the presidential aircraft is estimated at $1.9 billion to $3.9 billion for the two-plane program.
    • C-17 Globemaster III: A massive strategic transport plane costing around $328 million.
    • V-22 Osprey: This tiltrotor aircraft costs approximately $71.3 million to $118 million depending on the production lot and branch.

    Operational Costs (Per Hour)
It is also worth noting that "buying" the plane is only part of the expense; flying them is also costly.
    • B-2 Spirit: ~$130,159 per flight hour.
    • F-22 Raptor: ~$58,059 to $85,000 per flight hour.
    • F-35A: ~$34,000 to $42,000 per flight hour.

Don’t worry, you’ll fix it at the next midterms or presidential elections.
