Keep seeing Herro will probably be available this summer for trade. Probably have to throw in the PHX27’ 1st or some 2nds but not sure. Do you think he would be an upgrade to FVV? Him & Amen would have to bury the hatchet lol I’m sure he can split PG duties with Amen & Reed coming off the bench Trade DFS for Ty Jerome somehow and have a lethal white boy backcourt of Herro / Reed / Jerome shooting
He’s not a point guard and he’ll be available because he’s likely to be overpaid on a new contract. I really like him; he’s a great shooter. But he’s not a 2-way player. I wouldn’t want to pay him over $30 mil, and he surely will get more than that. Apparently Miami feels the same way.
I dont know how much of a 2 way player Fred will be after injury. He might not even be a one way player if his offense declines anymore this offseason lol. Just trying to find realistic trade targets to upgrade since yall don’t like my Dejounte Murray trade Herro only 26. Good shooter. Good size. Can play PG in short periods. Him, Amen, and Reed should be able to split duties and probably gives Reed more opportunities at PG reps next season vs Ime playing Fred 40min a game and making Reed a SG
Sure. I’d do it, just to rid of FVV and we are going to lose Tari anyway. I wouldn’t throw in a pick, since we would be foolish to extend Herro to the money he is going to require. I think Miami might actually agree to this if they aren’t scared off by his medicals.
I dont know about trading for Herro by himself but I posted a while ago that I'd target Herro and Ware this off season. Would likely need to give up Sengun or Jabari in that scenario. Both have been playing really well as of late so I kinda want to see how this season plays out and how guys finish.
It would have to be Sengun to get Ware. I put a trade proposal of Sengun for Ware and Herro and thought I would get run off the board by the vitriol. Sengun may be an overpay, especially if his recent resurgence is real. If we keep Sengun, Reed will have to get much, much better at defense, because Sengun will never be a rim protector.
I did the same proposal and I did get run off the board. Lol I think it will be a good trade for both teams. I would want a #1 too. But I do like the FVV and Tari trade idea too Miami - Sengun Hou - Ware, Herro and a 2027 #1

herro isn’t a point and not a great passer. This is the cam whitmore argument all over again. You can’t just plug players in and expect them to play a certain role or position.
