    It wasn't like this when I was growing up in the 90s. White people everywhere. Fast forward to 2026, I barely see any? Especially at the movies, I go to AMC and no whites? Why y'all left?

    Lol I usually go prime time weekends. I saw Jackie Brown at AMC first colony and it was the best of times. Plenty of Caucasian during that time.

    Looks like there was a dip in Caucasian population in 2010 but it came back in 2020. Meanwhile, the Asian population blew up and it’s the very slight majority now. Reading between the lines, more Asians than any other demo moved there as Sugarland grew.

    Also, Pacific Islanders gained 4 people between 2010 and 2020.

    Sugarland was always gonna be a hotbed for the Asian community as Chinatown is just right up the road.

    Yes, but are some of the South Asians in Sugar Land connected to the Mahatma Gandhi District (Hillcroft @ Freeway) up the Freeway from Sharpstown - Plaza America?
