I could see Sarr, Buzelis, Castle, Clingan, and even Kyshawn George going over Reed in a re-draft. I'm super happy with the Sheppard pick, but other players in the class have also done well.

Now watch some random player like Isaiah Collier end up being the best of the bunch.

Why are people acting like Sarr's a good player? He's a ****ing scrub. He has the Jalen Green-light and he's posting SHITE efficiency for a guy that size. He's actually probably worse than ****ing Jalen, being that tall and getting blocks is hardly impressive. I think Reed probably either still goes #3 or jumps up a spot to 2. Castle probably gets the top spot, Reed either moves up or Clingan (who does everything Sarr does, but better) jumps him.

I think Reed is better than Castle (because of Castle not being able to shoot or finish at the rim efficiently) but the national media/perception doesn't agree so I think it would end up being:

    1. Castle
    2. Sarr
    3. Reed
    4. Clingan

But I would pick Reed over those two for pure shooting/passing potential

Castle shoots .675 at the rim on over 30% of his FGA and .325 from 3 on over 3.5 attempts per game. He isn’t a poor finisher at the rim or non shooter.

32% is below average for sure, but it’s weird to say he can’t shoot as a 2nd year player when a decent chunk of our own fan base still thinks Amen has the potential to improve his shooting.

On Earth 2, we took Castle, the Spurs took Sheppard, and this board is enraged that we overloaded on shotless tweeners while Sheppard is tearing it up as Wemby's long-range killer.

    1) Castle 2) Ware 3) Collier 4) Clingan 5) Reed 6) Sarr

It was a terrible draft, I wanted the Rockets to trade the pick but Stone decided to make the pick.

    1) Castle is a good and he's tough
    2) Ware is 7ft he blocks shots and he can shoot the 3
    3) Collier is a nice PG. Athletic, gets to the rim and he can shoot
    4) Clingan, you can't teach size, plus he rebounds and can hit a 3 every now and again. Only going to get better
    5) Reed he is developing, ha great shot but he is inconsistent.
    6) Sarr has size, shot blocker, rebounds and a developing shot...I wanted him next to Sengun

So imagine if they were considerably worse due to having that scrub Castle....

No question Castle benefits from better coaching, better teammates and having the human eraser. However he was elite defensively in college and he has improved as a penetrator and passer.

Reed however has the ability to stretch the floor in a way that only a handful of players do and there has been improvement as a passer and in the mid range.

Reed is fine defensively most of the time. It wouldn’t even be discussed if he had a guy at the 5 that protected the lane and switched… and he didn’t have a zero defensively with Sengun.

Sheppard needs to get more consistent and draw more fouls. He does that and he will be the top scorer in this draft.

BULLSHIT. You've never wanted ANYBODY next to Sengun, because all you've done is attack Sengun since he started. You've ruined all of your credibility with years of inane blind hatred I'm afraid.

Stone would still take Reed at three, if he's there, considering all the upside he's witnessed.

I've said this so much, once you're a shooting threat you can draw so much on a pump fake, and it also helps your shots so the defender doesn't get too close

Based on track history, he probably likes Amen. Definitely doesn't like Sengun, Reed and maybe like Will Dunn and people like that. I'll let you figure out why, it's not difficult tbh to follow the true narrative behind his bullshit narratives.
