His longtime personal lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, convicted and jailed for campaign finance violations, tax evasion, and lying under oath. On and on. But MAGA be like "where's there's smoke, there must be... a series of super detailed and prosecutable... fake witch hunts!"
He's put himself in a corner with the Iran War, his polling is falling like no one has ever seen before, Epstein is not going away, he continues to take losses in court, and he will get hammered in the mid-terms. The only thing he can do is use some of the presidential powers, like firing appointees. That makes him feel strong and also salves the ego by putting the blame of his failures on someone else. If you are an appointee, this behavior was entirely predictable and you are a fool to think it would not happen to you.
