    It was an awesome sweep.

I hate that there is no game tomorrow.

It is very clear that the Astros have come out more focused than last season. Not sure if that’s the presence of Correa, the sense of urgency among veterans after missing the playoffs last year, or if it’s Espada being on the hot seat. But this team is clearly more intent on winning each pitch/inning/game.

A healthy Walker and Yordan plus Correa makes the Astros lineup much harder for a pitcher to get through.

A smaller strike zone for Altuve plus his new found plate discipline is another consideration.

Was able to sit in the Budweiser Brew House area for yesterdays game, my sons first game.
    He had a blast.
I know it’s early in the season and a midweek day game, but hopefully with continued success the stadium has a little more energy later in the season

Only 7 games in i know, but after them scoring 5+ or so last few years the offense would just... die the following games? Lmao it's been a nice change of pace.

But we could take advantage of this hot start and trade everyone to rebuild for 2032. And if that goes well, in 2030, we could start the rebuild for 2036.

Astros can maintain a Top 5 pace statistically. Altuve and Yordan's numbers will drop but Meyers, Paredes, and Peña will increase. One HR made Cam and Correa's doable.

Full faith in the pitching. Window. Still. Open. WIDE.

The only weak defender we have is Altuve and Altuve is still pretty sure handed. His range and arm are below average.

We have gold glove quality defenders at first, SS, 3rd, right and center field. When Matthews is in the lineup, we have elite defense at left also.

Great series. Although I don’t know how much of it is that the Stros are great or the Red Sox are in serious trouble.

Yeah, adding a bonafide superstar back to the lineup, plus getting Paredes back and Walker actually hitting, fills 3 massive holes that we had last year. Huge difference.

I don’t think their offense is going to be great but Suarez and Crochet are obviously elite pitchers. Bello isn’t bad either.
