Pels was the worst. the rockets went multiple times asking the pels to take the game it almost looked like a sabotage job
It's not the losses that bother me it's knowing we have zero chance to get out of the first round. Other than Reed the growth of the youg core was minimal. Also the coaching was lack luster!
Those games and others in total signal a major issue with the Rockets, which is that they wither under pressure when things ramp up. Per Team Rankings page, Rockets are 20th on offense in the 4th quarter 16th on defense in the 4th quarter 17th in scoring margin in the 4th quarter For reference OKC is 2nd in scoring margin, Lakers 5th (may get even more late game whistles in the postseason too with Luka and LeBron), Wolves 6th, Spurs 10th, and Denver 14th. But Denver's stats are meaningless because Jokic plays a lot more in the postseason. So essentially the Rockets not even being able to put away the Pelicans and the Kings of the world is a sign that they are likely to underperform their overall metrics in the postseason. On top of already being the 6th seed in the west.
The one that’s about to happen edit: did my anti-jinx work… 6.3 to go edit 2 : it did work .. the OT lost in Minnesota was my biggest OMG
I initially thought that but losing to so many trash teams. Basically a few G league squads at times. Countless blown leads. at least Minnesota is good. Although no Anthony Edwards. Idk they’re all unbelievable. A decades worth of WTF losses in one season. #durantthecloser
Their closing lineup was basically Randle since Gobert fouled out and McDaniels was banged up. They were likely one play away from packing it in and we gave it to them
The Minny one was at least a Wakeup call for Tari, not gonna lie....it could have gotten way uglier and carried thru the next games.
