Are we really using Ai to summarize videos that we can just watch on 1.5x? Jesus the future is so bleak.

It's pathetic that congress won't hold Trump, or other presidents for that matter, accountable.

Why do the American people not get any say whatsoever when it comes to who "we" are at war with?

Iran will not become a world power. They have a capital city that is dying because of lack of water and they don't have the money to move it. Climate is a killer and Iran has some of the harshest landscapes on the planet. That has worked in their favor throughout history, making it difficult to invade and impossible to hold, but we are in a new era where water will be more important than just about anything and you can't drink oil.

Hope you can save the water. If Iran bombs the desalination plants it sounds like a disaster.

Is the economy recovering in Dubai?

We’re actually good on water, they’d have to bomb a lot of desalination plants to cause a problem which I don’t think they’re capable of We pioneered large scale aquifer replenishment so we have over 30% ground water as well. The cost of flying food in rather than shipping it is a bigger thing they’re worried about.

On your second question, organically not at all but they’re injecting enough money to keep it afloat. Landlords renegotiating things. The number of people that packed up and left is a lot fewer than I expected. Other than tourist-oriented businesses, things seem eerily fine.

If it doesn’t last more than a week or two we’d be relatively ok (considering). Beyond that would be difficult. Keep in mind I can’t share much negative stuff, wish we could discuss it over a beer or something.

i finally understand MAGA... it's a shortened form.

Make America Hear How Great I Am Again

MAHHGIAA ==> MAGA so it fits on a hat, and also b/c MAHHGIAA sounds kinda ethnic when pronounced.

What's new? It's why I can't stand watching him speak. All he does is lie, brag about himself, put the blame of things on everyone but himself, and spew a little hate. He'll probably talk about his ballroom again too.

What a pointless speech. I wonder if the ground troops are being deployed as he rambles.

I think you have to look at them in comparison to the other states next to the strait of Hormuz. They have much less water insecurity than the Gulf states; a much higher population; and a mountainous terrain.

Is another country going to step up and control the strait? The US has apparently given up on that as a goal. So by default they now control 20% of the worlds oil supply. Double what Russia controls.

I foresee a bunch of Iranian-directed terror attacks at western targets . The war for them will be ongoing and any rules of warfare are pretty much out the window. It won’t happen right away. It will happen when no one expects it imo.
