I know everyone wanted to see reed start over tari and with this big slump. I respected it and was ultimately cool with it but i do think this teams best lineup, especially starting, is with tari. The slump was outrageous and we needed to switch it up for his sake as much as the teams sake. That being said I want Tari starting with reed of the bench. If we are gonna have any success this playoffs its gonna be because we come out with intensity from the jump and thats something tari brings. I also think Reed benefits more from playing opposing bench lineups. The team desperately needs bench scoring also. Glad to see he is seemingly turned it around.
As Ime should! Reed is best served at this stage coming off the bench! Even if ROFs can't see it, a blind man can! Reed's flaws are too evident right now
Tari making shots is better than Reed as the starter. But sooner or later, they need to incorporate Reed with most of the starter if he is going to play 30+ mpg.
I'm just happy to see Ime knows how to make an adjustment even though it took him 70 games to get out of his stubbornness. Let's see if this "new Ime" carries over into the playoffs or he just go back to hia stubborn ways and make excuses like "we got punked" "team not hustling or playing hard" blah blah

A good Tari in the starting lineup is the key to winning, not sure how you can argue against it at this point...
Well with a qualifier of “good Tari” you can’t argue. Problem was we hadn’t had good Tari in a very long time. Hopefully he’s back permanently. If Reed stays aggressive off the bench than this works great. We need Reeds scoring off the bench cuz nobody else can score.

Reed off the bench gives us more offense from the second unit which has struggled all year to score. When tari is on, his defensive pressure and rebounding really gets the starters going and when he is hitting 3s gives Sengun and kd so much more space to operate. Reed can do that sometimes but his 3 hasn’t been reliable and his defense is predicated on gambling
I can see Reed's defense, and his lack of fit with the starters being reasons not to start Reed. Bench scoring and his 3-pointer being inconsistent aren't ones. Reed or starters will be in at all times, the game is competitive, to provide scoring such that Reed starting on the bench or in the starting lineup does not affect the scoring of bench units much.
