Could be a scheduled day off, but I'll agree with you if Altuve, Correa, and Walker aren't rested in subsequent games
Math. The final frontier. Five positions: 1B, 2B, 3B, LF and DH. Six players. ETA: In the above scheme, Paredes sits one game a week. This is about 25 games for the season.
Except no player rotates positions to that extreme. I don’t think it’s good for Paredes. and look how many days our best lineup is not in there. Just put yordan in left
I'm all in on Alvarez playing 100-110 games in LF. Ife gets hurt he gets hurt. How many times has he gotten hurt badly playing LF? He mostly gets hurt running the bases and then there was last yrs hand injury which had nothing to do with playing LF.
110-110 games isn't playing LF everyday. It's essentially playing LF at home and LF at Boston/A's/Angels.
Paredes in 5 games has already started at 3B, DH and 2B. He even played 1B at the end of one game. Perhaps, the Astros have a different opinion than you about Paredes.
Don’t like stranding a guy at 3rd with 1 out. Those things kill you just needed a fly ball or a slow roller from correa.
I think Diaz should hit 9th until he starts getting on base more. Nothing wrong with him in the 9 spot until then.
