We have worked our butts off over here at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab getting these 4 Astronauts trained up and ready to go for tomorrow. I truly believe it is going to happen tomorrow and will not be delayed again. Immense sense of pride from myself for my team and everyone else at the agency once that Rocket goes up, and this cadence of moon missions continues, and then onward to Mars. Humans in Deep Space for the 1st time in 50 years! Tomorrow ya'll! LFG!!!!
What to know about NASA's Artemis II moon mission including how to watch, who are the astronauts As early as Wednesday, Artemis II will make history, taking astronauts around the moon for the first time in more than 50 years. The four-person crew will launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida, for a 10-day journey. https://abcnews.com/Technology/nasa...including-watch-astronauts/story?id=131536973
Is the moon where Space God is from? What are the chances there are close encounters with other aliens....
CNN is reporting that something called the ARPANET is going live by the end of the year and will rechange everything.
For older folks like me who grew up with Gemini & Apollo & stayed up late to watch Neil walk on the moon, it's been a lifelong fascination & pride in American accomplishment.
For not so older folks, some of those live shots of the launch brought back sad memories of the Challenger launch. But everything went well and hopefully continues to do so. This is awesome.
That was pretty cool. I think the most amazing thing is basically being in orbit and having a second launch IN SPACE. Does anyone know if we’ll have a visual on that and be able to really see the pod go Mach 33 in space?
Not sure what’s wrong with anyone who doesn’t think this is cool. My 11 year old daughter thinks it’s cool and she’s unimpressed with everything. It’ll be the furthest from earth any human has gone. Incredibly risky. Start of missions to setup an actual station on the moon.
its a giant waste of money and endangers human lives. We cant even land on the moon. Shooting mass around the moon is really not that big of a deal. Simple computer models can do that.
