The worst part is the Iranians will suffer even more than before. The IRGC will be more entrenched and more filthy rich than pre war and the hardliners will claim they outlasted the USA and know nobody will touch them again.

All those MAGA @RB713 @Salvy @El_Conquistador @ashleyem @Commodore @K9Texan who pretended to be concerned about Iranian people will move on to the next culture war issue while nornie suffer.

Trump's chess moves are long term and strategic in nature. The American liberal, fixated on surface level analysis, and pursuit of instant gratification, cannot follow strategic, long-term moves like this. Control of energy creates power.

    GOOD DAY

Your cult hero just gave up strategic control of the strait of hormuz to the IRGC which means they will be able to control 20% of the world's oil supply and you're claiming trump's "chess moves" somehow helps us control energy supply? Do any of you dumbass MAGATs have any shame at all? Do you even try spinning proper propaganda anymore?

These folks will literally look at you with a serious face and tell you the sky is pink if their cult hero tells them. Never met a more shameless group of morons in my entire life

    LMAO....

North America (Canada, US, and Mexico) could rival OPEC but Trump's lack of long term planning stopped that. But hey..... making the US taxpayers repair the energy infrastructure of Venezuela and Iran sounds like a smart plan!

Strategic Defeat is the new Completely Obliterated.

Trump’s war brought 'strategic defeat of the United States': WSJ foreign affairs chief

Since launching the war on Iran over one month ago, President Donald Trump has faced growing criticism as the consequences of the conflict have become apparent. Now following a flurry of confused messaging from Trump on Tuesday in which he suggested that the U.S. could withdraw and leave its allies to deal with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Wall Street Journal Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Yaroslav Trofimov has a frank assessment of the situation: the president’s actions “would be viewed, correctly, by Iran and much of the world as a strategic defeat of the United States.”

According to Trofimov, there are several clear signs that the war has been a loss for the U.S. and a win for the Iranian government.

“An Iranian regime that retains control over the Strait of Hormuz, gets paid for passage and chooses which nations can access the Persian Gulf will use this vital leverage (gifted by Trump) to pressure America’s European and Asian allies to lift sanctions, will coerce Gulf states, and will turn from a weakened regional pariah to the Middle East’s foremost power,” wrote Trofimov. “And yes, Iran is firing more missiles at Gulf states and Israel today than it was firing two weeks ago. Nowhere near defeated.”

He is not alone in this assessment. As Saager Enjeti, host of the popular political talk show Breaking Points, put it, “This unironically then is the beginning of the end of the U.S. empire: Militarily unable to collapse the Iranian regime from the air, sparking a global energy crisis for critical US allies and then telling them to go and fix the crisis we created.”

For Trump and the GOP, this disaster could have major political implications. The war was a key talking point for attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference this week, with many expressing frustration at the situation.

“He campaigned on no new wars,” said 18-year-old political science student Alexander Selby. “A lot of people — conservatives, young conservatives right now are kind of disillusioned with Trump and I’d consider myself one of those.”

“He’s lied about everything,” said Joseph Bolick, a 30-year-old veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and voted for Trump. “If you go into a war where there’s no end game, how is it going to end? There’s no clear objective.”

if Biden was doing this stupid sh*t, he would’ve been impeached weeks ago

Trump sounds like debate Biden every single day now, and it’s crickets…he can’t form a coherent thought, rambles constantly about off-topic things for minutes at a time, and is so fcked in the head he can’t even determine what is reality…they have to brief him about the war via short video compilations of us blowing things up

We are pretty much boned. Can't surrender and cant win.

Trump can not pull a TACO. The terms of admitting defeat are crazy
Payment of war damages, iranian sovereignty over the strait of hormuz. Surrender you look weak and lose the confidence of your allies

Fight and it will just b a repeat of iraq, and afghanistan. People will die and our economy will suffer from it.

Trump can just lie and claim that we won and the magatards will lap it up, but doesnt resolve anything

The dude is whacked mentally. Here we are in this stupid war causing all this chaos and inflation, and today that ******* is posting more pictures of his ballroom along with this tweet....

Melania and I are pleased to announce that Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, will visit the United States for a Historic State Visit from April 27-30th, which will include a beautiful Banquet Dinner at the White House on the evening of April 28th. This momentous occasion will be even more special this year, as we commemorate the 250th Anniversary of our Great Country. I look forward to spending time with the King, whom I greatly respect. It will be TERRIFIC!

    DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Who gives a sh*t? Seriously! I can't believe the King and Queen didn't tell him to go straight to hell on that invitation after he goes on and on berating the UK and the rest of our allies. They make me just as sick. They should present him an orange turd award for the biggest sh*t stain on the world. Trump has put a stain on the whole 250th celebration. He's such a disgrace to hold the Presidency.

I just watched a video about how much Iran would charge a tanker to move through the strait. They were speculating $1 per barrel. 7.3 billion barrels of oil pass through the strait per year.

LOL, we are spending $1 billion a day to hand over control of the strait to Iran, so that they can make billions. I can't think of a worse geopolitical blunder in American history. Trump has f%cked up so badly that the rest of the world would rather pay protection money to Iran than deal with the US.

American journalist kidnapped in Baghdad and security forces hunt captors, Iraqi officials say
The U.S. embassy has warned about kidnapping risks to U.S. citizens during the regional war.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — An American journalist was kidnapped Tuesday in Baghdad and Iraqi security forces are pursuing her captors, Iraqi officials said.
The journalist was identified as freelancer Shelly Kittleson by one of the outlets she worked for.
The Iraqi interior ministry said in a statement that a foreign journalist had been kidnapped, without giving more details about the person's identity.

Journalists do dangerous work that's for sure. I hope she isn't raped and tortured. I wouldn't step a foot in a Middle Eastern country now, or even in the future. Terrorists will be looking for revenge.

Because it doesn't make sense to sane people. You have to drink the kool-aid and join the cult. Just lay back and accept it.
