Cool! Also thank god they got rid of credit karma and with Memorial-Hermann Health Systems you have a chance at some gold / yellow and black, which goes well with white and red. Cannot wait for the full jersey rebrand, because damn are they an eyesore with the lack of spacing on the letters and the number font that doesn't go with the letters and is still the 2012 STOLEN font of the Pacers.

I heard Tillman bought the Connecticut Sun and my first thought was, “what does he want to buy a newspaper for?”

Of course, once I read the story, I thought, “what does he want to buy a WNBA team for?” The only thing that loses more money than a newspaper is a WNBA team. But now I realize that as an NBA team owner, there are likely a lot of perks to subsidizing a WNBA team. Tax breaks, money laundering opportunities, etc.

 

And the ones that have been calling him poor and broke still don’t realize how dumb they are … if you ever said or thought Tillman was broke you are very very dumb.

 

I think that was during the COVID years. His hospitality business took a hit. That and the LTS thing became a meme here.
