Regardless of what happens moving forward this has to feel amazing after what he's gone through the last 3 seasons.

That was a 2 run double that almost happened. Espada playing with fire

 

I didnt mind sending him out there for the 7th. Our bullpen has been used to death to start the season. Any extra inning you can get out of you starter, especially with how well his pitching was and how low his pitch count was, I don’t have an issue at all.

If you can squeeze 2 innings out of Weiss… that’s a huge bullpen reset in this long stretch to start the season.

 

Yeah and we were a foot away from him going 6 2/3 with 3 and possibly 4 earned runs giving up.

I see we are still a rudderless ship.
