Thing is tonight he did half of his damage from 3P land. Being a good 3P shooter is durable against good teams... if he can ever do it consistently. As are his passing skills.

We've gone in circles on the "baby Jokic" stuff over and over again. Sengun is never going to be a monster at scoring efficiently in the paint like Jokic is, because a lot of that is based on physical traits Sengun simply does not have. But the Joker's outside shooting and preternatural court vision are potentially replicable, or at least "close enough", and we've seen flashes of those things from Alpi.

I don't know for certain how he's going to turn out, or if what the odds are of him reaching top 10 player status. But if he does it, it will be because he becomes a good outside shooter and brings his playmaking up at least most of the way to Joker's level. And I don't think those things are impossible, just growing less likely with each season that he doesn't pull it off.
