Trump is an asset of their ally Russia. It’s almost comical that Trump does everything Russia wants while they are sending intelligence to Iran.

I think it's less an issue of hiding and more like a 3-ring circus full of "holy ****" comments on Signal threads.

On religion, relevant to recent posts in the thread: It seems to me that people like Kegsbreath worship a pagan, blood-soaked god much more than anything a true Christian could recognize. Kegsbreath basically prays to Crom, god of the Conan novels, and he believes in that sort of universe. Absolutely deluded and misguided people. It was obvious when they were confirmed, but Congress has zero collective spine. Zero.

I feel sorry for civilians and our US troops if they get tortured or killed by any Iranians with bloodthirsty revenge against more attacks if diplomacy isn't reached soon.

Iranian Military Spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zulfiqari issued a defiant video statement warning that any ground offensive would result in U.S. troops being humiliated and taken prisoner.

American soldiers would become "food for the sharks in the Persian gulf,” Zulfiqari added.

A top Iranian official warned the U.S. against a ground invasion, saying its troops would be set "on fire," as regional diplomats met Sunday in Pakistan in hopes of opening direct U.S.-Iran talks and ending the monthlong war.

"If the U.S. government wants its universities in the region spared, it should condemn the bombardment" of Iranian universities by midday Monday, the Guard said in a statement.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said Saturday that dozens of universities and research centers have been hit, among them the Iran University of Science and Technology and Isfahan University of Technology

I know f all about the Iranian military, but I do know they've been preparing for an invasion of infidels for nearly half a century. And I also know they'll have more motivation than our own soldiers, who have to be wondering WhatTF, WhyTF. Or more of them will be wondering that than Iranians. God bless our troops please, and I mean the Christian God.

[The Hill] Bannon at CPAC warns Iran war just starting: ‘Your sons, daughters … could be on Kharg Island’

Also some really, really pessimistic comments from noted warmonger Blackwater founder Eric Prince about how you're going to be "seeing American warships burning on the news" and about the extreme improbability of regime change given the lack of proper preperations. This is a guy totally ideologically aligned and who adds a new zero to his bank account every time America goes to war. But he's speaking out against it.

When you've lost the conservative warmongers at CPAC for your conservative pet project elective war, you should take a long, hard look in the mirror at the sour, deluded orange face looking back at you.

Out of necessity, Ukraine is the world expert in drone defense. They are now exporting that knowledge for returns.

Of course, the US POTUS said we don't need any help.. we know more about drones than anyone and have the best drones in the world... while defending against cheap drone attacks from Iran with much more expensive defensive systems. While he said that, the US military was already getting help from Ukraine.

About 7-months ago, Ukraine offered to sell the US their drone defense technology. But the Trump administration dismissed it, until recently.

Fighter jets are downing Iranian drones—a dangerous, expensive mission - Defense One
Ukraine Signs First Gulf Defense Deal With Saudi Arabia
EDDAH — Ukraine and Saudi Arabia signed a defense cooperation memorandum of understanding on March 27, marking Kyiv’s first military agreement with any Gulf state and formalizing a wartime partnership built on a shared enemy: Iran’s Shahed drone.

The MoU, signed in Jeddah by Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Khalid Al-Bayari and Ukrainian Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Andriy Hinatov, lays the groundwork for defense procurement contracts, technology transfer, and joint investment, according to a statement from President Volodymyr Zelensky. The deal arrived during a surprise Gulf tour that also produced defense agreements with the UAE and Qatar, extending Ukraine’s counter-drone footprint across the entire western shore of the Persian Gulf.

The agreement is not ceremonial. More than 200 Ukrainian anti-drone specialists are already deployed across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, with another 30 heading to Jordan and Kuwait, according to Al Jazeera. These are technicians, electronic warfare operators, and tactical advisers who have spent three years learning how to kill the exact weapons now slamming into Riyadh and the Eastern Province.

Specific terms remain classified, but the scope is clear from public statements and deployment patterns. Ukraine is providing counter-drone expertise, training for Saudi operators, and potential co-development of air defense solutions tailored to the Gulf theater. In return, Saudi Arabia offers financial contracts, potential arms purchases, and — critically for Kyiv — a demonstration that Ukraine is not merely a consumer of Western security assistance but a producer of it.

The Cost Math That Makes This Deal Inevitable
The economics of the Gulf’s air defense problem explain why Riyadh signed this MoU faster than any typical Saudi defense procurement process would allow. A single Shahed drone costs Iran an estimated $20,000 to $50,000 to produce, according to CNBC. A Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptor missile costs approximately $4 million. For every dollar Iran spends building a Shahed, the defender spends $20 to $28 shooting it down, according to analysis by Arab News.

    System Unit Cost (est.) Role
    Iranian Shahed drone $20,000 – $50,000 Attack
    Patriot PAC-3 MSE $4,000,000 Interception
    NASAMS AIM-120 $400,000 Interception
Ukrainian SkyFall P1-SUN $1,000 Drone interception
Ukrainian Wild Hornets Sting $2,500 Drone interception

Ukrainian interceptor drones invert the equation. At $1,000 to $2,500 per unit, they cost less than the weapon they destroy. Ukraine is producing 1,500 FPV-based interceptors per day as of January 2026, according to United24 Media. The Pentagon and at least one Gulf state are in active talks to purchase Ukrainian-made interceptor drones, according to Military Times.

I don't have any respect whatsoever for pedo freak Epstein bro Steve Bannon...

but it's funny to see him go from pretend right wing populist

to "we are gonna invade Iran Hitler style" and by "we" he means somebody else's kids getting droned into oblivion on some useless rocks in Persia.

Well, it's not hard for folks to be skeptical of believing him, considering all the lies he used to spew defending Trump. That being said, the documentary has my interest. I haven't watched it.

Yeah, I read that story. They are truly out of control, and supporting, funding, and joining in on all their horrific crimes against humanity isn't something I can do morally. They have killed, tortured, and blown the limbs off of too many children for me to stomach.

I don’t listen to him. It seems a lot of these America First people are fine with war as long as it does no harm to Americans. School kids being bombed matters less to them than gas going up 10 cents a gallon in red states.

Glad to see this support for this war so low, but if people are fine with thr war as long as they don’t feel it in their pocketbooks then are we learning the right lesson?

Are they specifically targeting Christians, or is this just a general security measure against mass gatherings?

I don't care what excuses or reasoning they use. Too many innocent lives have been extinguished from existence due to their own violence.

I wonder if the history of this age will paint convenience as our version of lead pipes for drinking water? I even watch supposedly peacenik libs in San Francisco who won't stop their addiction to Amazon and Facebook, etc. It's like: "Sure I'm against what's happening, but I have to get things delivered to my doorstep today, right? And did you see this sale they had on dogfood for my chihuahua?"

So, I don't hold any more or less judgment for those who prioritize gas prices either. Very human behavior, very myopic. And I do plenty of that too. I so want a hamburder right now, for instance.

Any bets on how long we go without an official briefing? There are a lot of questions they don't want to answer and those questions will only become more numerous and pointed as the days roll along.

And it's not just about war. Hegseth can expect questions on his striking minorities from the promotion list, his edict against chaplains who oppose the war, and the Pope's condemnation of his praying for Iranian deaths.

Related, here's the best guess as to equipment we have lost so far, but I think it is even leaving some stuff out and this seems quite optimistic about some of those tanker planes being repaired. I could go with rebuilt though.
