I think he can still be the (at least #1B) play finisher on a championship team. I don't think he's very different from the younger version of himself who already did it with the Warriors multiple times. But you can't play through him and expect to go anywhere. If we don't have anyone else initiating plays and getting him clean 1-on-1s toward the end of the shot clock, or utilizing his gravity to get somebody else open at that time--it's not going to work out.

 

You can give folks all of the data in the world - and they will still believe their preconceived biases despite the evidence to the contrary...
