I'm annoyed that it is almost April and I cant even start my seedlings on my front porch yet because its still below freezing nightly.. although my hippe lettuce plants are doing well under the grow lights in the basement
I used to really enjoy the Astros forum here. The amount of b****ing in it now makes it not remotely worth reading. Game threads I don’t open at all anymore, the few random threads I do “read” are really just scanning for posts from Nook and a couple of other posters.
It's always a crapshoot when to plant in the Spring here in CenTex. You can wait a bit too late and then get an early massive heatwave and you've kicking yourself for not planting 3 weeks earlier... or You plant early and get a random late freeze that kills everything. This March we had a weekish of 95+ followed by a late freeze. And still minimal rain. My garden is a whole lot smaller than it used to be.

Building a hog trap to knockout the 25 or so pigs that are tearing stuff up at the Marble Falls ranch...only thing I can't build is the gate. Tractor Supply doesn't have them in stock, but you can have one shipped to the store for pickup. They want to charge me $250 to ship a $299 thing to their store, where they have delivery trucks showing up every other day or so.
I'm annoyed by two supermarket things 1 The music in the store is from when I was a teen. Which makes sense but it makes me feel old. 2. Who the fark over engineered deli meat bags. And the strategic placement of the upc sticker. I'm 0 for ten on my last attempts to open the bag without ripping the bag in the front
A few years ago, I would see pumps where you could choose news, sports or weather and you could get a little update while you fill up. That was pretty cool. But yeah....now it's strictly ads.
The Pitt. Or at least all the instagram posts that have overwhelmed my feed praising the show. I watched most of the first season. It was okay. I watched because I LOVED ER and Noah W. I don’t have a problem with shows that try to make societal points but Jesus be a little more subtle and less preachy. It came off to me as Noah actually thinking he’s a doctor and needs to educate people about all kinds of things. Barf show me bloody surgeries and gang violence in my ER shows!
Why is your non-service animal dog in the grocery store?? Why do people feel the need to bring their dog everywhere?
I don't even take our dog to friends houses. If I'm in for an overnight I get a sitter. But my dog is king of the A Holes. I will take him to the pet store, but it never ends well.
LOL, I thought I was the only person who had issues with my deli bag........I get prepackaged ham from the HEB deli and they put the price sticker over the zipper part, so when you tear it open you rip the plastic and I end up putting it all in a Ziplock.................dam u HEB, stop doing this!!
I love my dogs almost as much as I love my kids but it would never occur to me to take them to the freakin' grocery store. That's just weird. Speaking of grocery stores... these things: Spoiler Every time I try to punch a whole in one of these to tear off the part where you can just grab a can, i end up tearing the whole box and having all the cans come rolling out on to the floor.
