What makes the idea of Israel wanting to assassinate Iranians involved in negotiations so unbelievable to you? It doesn’t seem that far-fetched to me, though I agree with your stance to be skeptical of any “news” coming from social media. Especially if it includes the word “Breaking”.

Trump and Netaynhu can take all the credit for this. This is on them.

WTO says worst trade disruption in 80 years
The global trading system is experiencing the “worst disruptions in the past 80 years”, World Trade Organization chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala warned at the opening of the WTO ministerial conference.

“The world order and the multilateral system we use to know has irrevocably changed,” she said.

“We cannot deny the scale of the problems confronting the world today.”

    Today Trump posted....

NATO NATIONS HAVE DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP WITH THE LUNATIC NATION, NOW MILITARILY DECIMATED, OF IRAN. THE U.S.A. NEEDS NOTHING FROM NATO, BUT “NEVER FORGET” THIS VERY IMPORTANT POINT IN TIME! President DONALD J. TRUMP

As if Trump's not a raging lunatic himself, that toddler acting old crybaby in diapers.

Not in the least bit that they are targeting Iranian leadership per se, but rather the possibility of doing so blindly in rage to their detriment without a preconceived calculation of strategic advantage that I find so highly improbable.

    Edit for tard

Nothing good comes out of a leader who blindly acts out of rage. People suffer from their actions. I doubt they care enough about that though, because for those types it's all about self-preservation, flexing their power, and revenge.

I will edit my post, as I see it does leave room for confusion, but I was attempting to say that there's no way the Israeli government doesnt know who and why they're assassinating and what their intended objective is thereby.

I might’ve missed it, but how come I haven’t heard anything about Israel sending ground troops?

Why aren’t they sending thousands of soldiers to take Kharg Island and reopen the Strait of Hormuz?

it seems like they dragged us into a war and then said

    TU for your answer.

Don't think he is a different person now. It is just that in his first term he was surrounded by more rational people who would not blindly do his bidding, especially if it was illegal or very sketchy.

Makes sense if the real goal is regime change. They’ve systematically taken out Hamas leadership because they see Hamas as unacceptable, and they’ve been targeting Iran’s leadership and institutions because the current Iranian regime is unacceptable to them.

I could be 100% off here, but my reading of his post is:

He’s trying desperately to avoid sending ground troops, and he can't understand why Iran is ignoring him. It’s just not calculating in his head.

All of this is my guess: He’s been told that Iran is 10x more difficult than Afghanistan. There’s a high chance the U.S. could win the initial ground campaign in the first few weeks, but there’s also a high risk of massive U.S. troop casualties. He may not be hearing or may be unable to process that even if the U.S. wins the first few weeks, controlling a country that large with so many militias is essentially impossible. Winning the initial phase is 10x harder, and winning the long battle is 50x harder.

I’m afraid that even the high risk of mass casualties might not stop him if he sees an initial victory, and it could be enough for him to order the start of ground troops. I’m praying that won’t happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it does.

    I was talking about Trump.

Netaynhu is the calculating one, and killing and starving hundreds of thousands of civilians is par for the course for him to take out his targets or the land or resources he wants. He knew what he was doing months before the first bombing of Iran when he stroked Trump's ego, and gave him praise and prizes, dreams of Trump Towers in Gaza, and denied committing crimes upon humanity.

lol they’re just going to say “see they don’t want to negotiate” and then just bomb them. And no one can stop them.

I’m sure you’ll fix it at the next “Lesser of Two Evils” election.

If he has to put boots on the ground to scream "I won this war!" then he will. If it takes troops dying, then that's the cost he will take. He doesn't want anything less than his 15 point plan and to declare himself the savior against evil to the world, regardless of the cost in money and to American lives. For now at least, he did manage to make war more of a headline than his Epstein pedo protectors administration.
