I sometimes think about what might have been if we'd kept Lowry and Dragic as our backcourt instead of doing the whole Harden thing

We probably wouldn't have been as competitive, but that 2016-2017 season would have been fun with both of them having career years.

He’s only 40? Seems like he played for us 20 years ago…

I remember a college game #1 UConn vs Villanova way back, that had 11(!) future NBA & pro players. Was hype around Rudy Gay, Randy Foye, Marcus Williams, etc.

But it was little Lowry in the mix stood out as the best player on the court. That impression lasted with me. Showed "intangibles" and a "trust factor" beyond his measurables, right before the analytics takeover. I didn't think he would go THIS far lol. But I'm not that surprised Lowry was the last man standing,

Reminder that the Rockets had shorty stumpy Lowry, shorty stumpy Chuck Hayes, shorty shrimp Aaron Brooks, slow earthbound Shane Battier, slow earthbound Luis Scola, all on the same team. Hayes started all 82 games at center. And Rockets had a WINNING record.

The brief Rafer and Lowry as a back-up and then AB and Lowry is still my favorite PG combo after Cassell & Kenny.

You mean Rafer with AB as a backup and then AB and Lowry? Rafer was traded for Lowry, they never played together.
