Living 30 minutes south of Murfreesboro, TN, I can proudly say that the following burger places are located there: 1) Whataburger (multiple locations) 2) Steak N Shake 3) Culver’s 4) In N Out (!!) 5) Five Guys 6) Red Robin Plus the oldies like Hardee’s, McDonald’s, Sonic, Burger King, and Wendy’s and a lot of other places that are unique to the area like ML Rose and Bad Daddy’s Burgers. The Whataburger is not bad but I would personally consider Steak N Shake to be better. I have eaten once at Culver’s and it was such a long time ago that I don’t remember it being that great. Maybe I should give it another try. Five Guys has the best burger, IMO, but are ridiculously overpriced. Now to In-N-Out…apparently the CEO is buddies with TN Governor Bill Lee and wants to make TN the eastern “hub” of their business. For those of you complaining about the fries - order them as well done aka crispy (this is a secret menu item). I started doing this the 2nd time I started eating there and it has made a world of difference. I got a 3X3 animal style (w/o pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes) along with the well-done animal style fries and a large coke for about 16 dollars - great value and great quality - their burger is really worth it, IMO.
Whataburger has the "Monterrey Melt" back... That sammich with grilled chicken (not a huge fan of the burger), jalapenos, and sauce on the side to add as needed is solid, maybe the best thing they do.
Houston man sues Whataburger for allegedly putting onions on his burger https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/...urger-for-allegedly-leaving-onions-on-burger/
Fact: whataburger has always been bad. Yes… at 2am a bacon egg and cheese taquito will hit. However other than that it’s mediocre at best and I think they routinely have the worst service in the restaurant industry hands down.
in n out is so much better not even close whataburger has never been good outside of the texans that think the whopper is good
You want a a great burger from a Texas institution? https://pterrys.com/locations/ There's 3 in Houston now and they're delicious. Screw whataburger.
