I'll probably see Dune first then maybe Doomsday after Christmas.

Families spending $100+ dollars probably won't do multiple movies same period. Not just cost prohibitive, but planning babysitters & other things.

Some casual movie watchers don't really care for the movie theater setting itself. They can barely tolerate just 1 viewing in "stuffy dark loud theater".

Then some people won't go to movies alone. Their friends might like 1 movie but not the other. So it's going to the 1 the friends go to. But not the other one alone. Spreading the movie out might give time to convince someone to tag along

Then some people are more broke than they appear. $40 - $50 on 2 movies might be a bit steep

People will go to see both if both are worth seeing. Simple as that.

For me, I'd prioritize seeing Dune 3 over Doomsday. The MCU has been cooked for a long time now, there's no chance I'd see an MCU movie in the theaters without A LOT of credible positive reviews.

Are there ballet in Dune Part 3, and will Chalamet's character go up against it.

Think the reports said bunch of the ladies in his immediate family (sister, mom?), are in that space. So when he comments about the popularity of it, he's witnessing it firsthand.

From a PR stand point, he could have worded it a lot better. Or just not bought it up. More trouble than it's worth.
