The Rockets still have a chance this season i believe to do some damage, even with their recent play, if they sign an experienced play maker. Season is still not lost but Rafael needs to sign a point guard asap before the playoff starts. They should convince Paul to come out of retirement for one last playoff run. Even a washed up CP3 can organize and put the ball in the right positions for these guys. There is no guarantee Durant will be as good as he is now come next season so they need to max what they can for this playoff run. They should be on the phone with Paul I think. Even a one leg Lonzo would make a difference.

The feckless new owner tried to sabotage his career by going public that he was "the worst contract in sports". The team is brain dead and cant shoot or break a double team. The GM said they're punting on this year. I'd rather watch games from my couch too.

I do agree we need another experienced point guard...I prefer Dinwiddie because he's still actively playing.
Watching last night's game just proved Ime sucks at drawing up offensive plays and making in-game adjustments...as fans, we're going to be hostage of the Ime Era because his overachieving last season took the focus away from Stone's failure of wasting some of those 1st round draft picks on busts!

Stone decided to punt the season, literally not even trying to acquire a PG, made no moves at the deadline.

So players you insult aren't prone to helping you out later...? Who knew?

Sure, let's bring in a future Hall of Famer to teach our young guys the finer points of being a pro.

    What could possibly go wrong?

The Clippers were 6-16 with Chris Paul and 28-16 without Chris Paul this year.

He would be a good mentor to Sheepard also. He still could be effective in the half court and entry passes to Durant.

Bringing in CP would be the equivalent of when JVG brought Mark Jackson in to teach Stevie "how to play right". Leave CP where he is at, let our pg's get more mins/experience and also let our guys learn to fight some adversity. Just like what Pops said in Friday, "Everybody is afraid of taking an ass whooping". You learn in the failures. This season is a punt, let's see who grows from it, Ime and Stone included.
