And Capela is supposed to be declining while Ayton is in his prime.

I still don't know why Capela is not playing more. I thought Jabari was taking up the center minutes since Adams went down. Now Jabari is down and Capela is still playing only around 12 mpg.

Keeping Capela away from the Lakers alone is worth having Capela. He's the 1 team he could help that's in competition with the Rockets

    Agreed.
When they got Ayton that it was a mistake
I really don't care for the guy . . .his attitude and his skillset
Clint is what every team needs.
Alot of times the best talent aint the best fit
esp when that talent is mercurial, unpredictable and inconsistent
It's easy to coach a Clint . .. . not so much an Ayton
You know what you gonna get out of Clint every night
and it ain't calling for the ball in the post

When Ayton entered NBA, the Capela way was already a common play style. So can't claim being "mishandled"

Can see if it's a Dwight Howard situation, sold a sweet story by Rockets in expanding his game with Hakeem & such. Just to actually turn him into a Tyson Chandler. But doubting Ayton was oversold on anything.

Checked stats. Saw Ayton career high scoring game is 35 pts. Unless Ayton is talking about defense not offense, that's not high for a #1 pick, and the way he is acting.

Sengun has way more career 30 point games than Ayton, in 3 less seasons. Capela himself career high is 31. Isaiah Hartenstein has a 33 pt game and he's certainly not a scorer. Dwight already had a Hall of Fame career the same point in Ayton's career, and Ayton is barely past the Capela he complained about

    Ayton never impressed me
I did not follow him in College
    and
his first seasons I thought he was adequate but
    not a force.

I think the 2 biggest things with him are:L
    1. Expectations [His and ours]
    2. EGO and Attitude

    He sounds entitled

From your own post {link}. LOL @ Ayton bottom left

This is only for offensive rebounding rate. It looks like it means the Lakers team way improves, gets more offensive rebounds with Ayton NOT playing.

Since Ayton plays close to the basket, and Vanderbilt up top doesn't, not the best look for him.
