Watching him lower the head and just straight plow forward after the initial hit for an extra 2-4 yards at his size is awesome.

After the draft I thought he'd be a solid 2/3rd down back...can catch and block and play in space. I had no idea he could run as tough as he has. Now we need 1 other guy so he doesn't get worn out within a couple of years.

I think one of my favorite things about him is he has shiftiness without sacrificing too much forward momentum. Like he can make guys miss, but doesn't do it by coming to a complete stop and jumping sideways (too often) or by running backwards. The end result is occasional big runs when he can make the right defenders miss, but very few negative run plays (unless the Oline just completely blows their assignment).

He was amazing last night and Chubb looked good as a backup too.

    Came here to post this.

This is absolutely insane being who’s been in the league since 2000.

Offensive line deserves some of the credit.

This is why they need to add another RB.

If Monty goes down expect a lot more of what things looked like last yr.

Just won the 1st Annual Woody Marks Bowling tournament on Sunday. I’m excited for woody this season, he seems excited even in a split role. Got to meet Montgomery too, he’s a pretty chill guy.

What about Woody's game excites you? Is he a make you miss guy? A tackle breaker etc....I like Woody in the James White role, not as a full time RB

Correct, I’m excited to see him in the James white role. I think he’s gonna be an elite receiver out of the back, just gotta utilize him. And I’m hoping D-Mo pounding into the dline repeatedly helps free him up. But we’ll see.
