I hope Nick Van Exel and Sammy told him something about being professional. Nick got dumped to Denver and Golden State, and he took it like a man. He did whine a little. But he always reported. Sammy got dumped to Phoenix, Dallas, New Jersey, and Milwaukee in a span of 2 years.

Take it like a man Steve! I still love you though.

If TMac has indicated he'll only sign a long term deal with Houston..........everything else is rhetoric. Who is going to gut their team for a one year wonder?

It's best for Francis to go to Orlando, and best for us to have McGrady!...:D

I predict Francis will recite his "it's a business" mantra 26 more times before the season starts...

NVE and Sammy are PGs that got dumped to bad teams when they were in a good situation. Their reps got tarnished a little, but not much, they're probably telling Steve not to do the same thing. Be professional about it.

If Phoenix is our competitor, you've got to remember that they took a flyer and traded for McDyess in his last year. They did get burned, but that Colangelo fellow is one sick b*stard for self-inflicted pain.

Wow, they took Howard. Guess they'll definately need Cato now.

Oh man. Wish Orlando had taken Okafor. Dwight means they are thinking a long rebuilding process. Not good.

Orlando drafted Howard. That's good news because I heard a story earlier that said they would be leaning toward Howard if they get Cato because they saw Okafur as more of a 5 in the east. They get Howard meaning they got Cato lined up.

Had they picked Okafor, they would have 2nd best post defense in the east, right behind Wallace brothers. Cato/Okafor wouldn't have much firepower, but SF and Cat would be more than happy to shoot 50 times a game.

Well that was not good news at all. The Magic trading picks for a point guard.

I think that is a major snag, now they will get Jameer Nelson. Unless they did this to send him to houston in the T-Mac deal.:D

If they do the trade with us, they will be pretty much set at every position except for maybe small forward with Hill as a question mark. With that in mind, maybe they just saw an opportunity to add some depth for cheap (a future first) by picking up Nelson.

This could very well still include a deal for Cat or SF going to a 3rd team. Maybe Orlando wants to make SF a 2.

Well in that case Mobley would have to go to the bench.

Jameer is perfect to back up Steve. I take it more to mean Gaines and Lue are headed our way.

Good luck SF3, Cat & Cato. Looks like your going to O'town after all. I'll miss those nasty ally-oop's that Steve used to toss to Cato. That's about it.

On another note, the Astros just got Carlos Beltran! Holy ****ing ****!!

Did ESPN not do a sound check before tonight's telecast?
Tirico's got more reverb going than a live Radiohead show.
