Sadly, and this isn't my wish or opinion, the Rockets are SOOOO unlikely to ever trade Fred. We as fans, are stuck with him and he'll likely slide right into a job with the team after retirement.

I picture Ime and Stone chilling together scrolling through basketball reference trying to find some bargain bin non shooters to also add to this roster of non shooters. They are purposely trying to be anti modern NBA and win will a team for of bullies and brick layers.

Yeah - it isn’t a secret. Brad Stevens referred to Brown in the past tense when talking about him yesterday.

Rockets will likely have some level of involvement - but Brown is 29 years old and the Celtics are a smarter organization than the Rockets. If the Celtics really want to move him - maybe the Rockets should wonder why.

everything and I mean everything that anyone with any connections to the team has said is that the Rockets are not interested in Jaylen Brown. The national media attaching them to Giannis and Brown is simply because it made some amount of sense and the Rockets have very attractive assets. I have NO IDEA who the Rockets are interested in at this point but I just know they weren't interested in those two at the a) asking price b) ages c) contracts.

It's because they don't have the balls to make any meaningful move. They are afraid of the ramifications if the trade fails. They proved this last year by not addressing anything at the trade deadline.

I’m interested to see who else they think they can get that will be pivotal and impactful?

Literally the only other star players would be Ja Morant (who killed his own career), Kawhi (old & injury prone), Embiid (old & injury prone).

Mazzulla replaced Udoka, then got a title after.

Udoka has Sengun right now, if Mazzulla get his hand on Sengun, he might one of the few coahces who can unlock Alp. If that happens, would not be a good look for us.

    dayum.

I think the Astros should trade Jake Meyers and Paredes to Boston for Jaylen Brown and Jarren Duran. Then flip Brown to the Rockets for cash.

Rockets get their starting all-star guard they need

Astros get their outfielder they need

Red Sox get their infielder they need

    Boston gets rid of Brown.

    Win/Win/Win/Win

Is this based on the tweet about betting on yourself, or whatever FVV posted today?

a few people who may know something have made a few comments/tweets regarding potential FVV trades / him opting in. That wouldn’t have happened a year ago. Something changed

private twitter accounts, not going to put them on blast.

    Apparently Kyrie is a possibility.

I would like Derrick White for FVV + Capela or DFS + a FRP

    Thanks.

I would love to steer clear of Kyrie since he has a history of injuries. I would love Derrick White even if he had a down year last year, i'm willing to bet on him on.

    Yuck.

Kyrie or White are just the KD trade all over again. Over the hill veterans on the downside of their careers who won't be enough to push us over the top. More risk-averse GMing if we trade for one of those guys.

Get us a player on the right side of 30, damn it!

Everyone’s idea of an offer on this site starts with DFS and most of them as acting like he is valued. We don’t won’t DFS and either does anyone else, unless we attach picks.
