I guess this is the wrong forum, but I randomly got to see Messi's 18th World Cup goal yesterday -- just a thing of determined, crafty beauty. I took a lunch break from work and decided to sit down at a little middle-eastern place (great shawarma -- they put eggplant and pickles in the wrap with the chicken), and there was Argentina beating Austria 1-nil when he led a great break. (sorry -- the crooks at FIFA blocked the vid, but you can find it)
NRG looks like a great place to watch a soccer match, at least that's how it seems on TV. perfect stadium layout, great crowd noise, and fans close to the pitch.
I've been impressed by this Norwegian scoring machine, Erling Haaland with his size / athleticism, he'd make a great WR / TE in the NFL
I’m very well aware and most Irish folks have Nordic countries showing up in their 23&Me. Mine was a bit more pronounced than I guessed.
