Trade for Jaylen Brown

I like it, but I'm greedy. I want Pritch or White too.

 

It is one of the only trades I have seen floated involving Jabari that I would take, but there is not a chance in hell, Boston would do it. Brown ain’t going anywhere.

Yeah, they need a center, so I think it'd have to involve Sengun to start.

Rockets should do everything possible to pair Amen Thompson and Jaylen Brown.

 

Not saying he’s Jaylen Brown but I like RJ Barrett as a cheaper and more getable option.

I’ve seen some growth in his game and his career arc reminds me a bit of Andrew Wiggins.

Entering into his age 26 season, the same age Wiggins shook off the inefficient young guy in too big of a role perception and made his first Allstar team.

I could see a new team and a good season producing something similar for Barrett.

I think a three way between Boston/Houston/Milwaukee gets every team what they want.

I'd send out Alpi and some picks, some good ones too, may as well with KD and JB we're not going to have good picks.

I'd rock with that, Bari/Reed coming off the bench to lead the 2nd units. We'll need to get a center though. We can't trade Alpi then just go "F that position" like we did with PG. Maybe Tari can be flipped for a good big somewhere.

 

Boston will be 34m under the 2nd Apron next year. All they need is a decent center to replace what Horford or Porzingus gave them. They are a smart organization. Unless Brown or Tatum demand trades they are going nowhere.

 

Dont' really see Celtics making the move for Giannis.... but Giannis to Celtics. Bucks would be in same position of Giannis with little means to improve around Jaylen Brown so they move him. Sengun is on a cheaper contract and FVV is expiring/can be extended.

Sengun + FVV + worst of 2027/2029 pick get routed to Bucks.

Hopefully you get Amen ~23% of the cap. Then you have DFS's and Capela's contract to potentially aggregate for trade and Eason's S&T to fill out the rest of the roster.

 

This is not the way. Rockets need to trade Durant for a pick and hold on to all of their incoming picks to get more bites at the apple. No one currently on this team could ever be the best player on a championship team.

 

Brown isn’t going to change much, put shooters around him and trade KD, maybe then you’d have a decent start.
